@Zeugirdor994 In L4D2 the tanks gets slower when burning and it continuously receive damage. While in L4D1 It only sets a timer. In expert I think it was 40 seconds. Damage from guns and fire burning doesn't stack they are individual in L4D1 so is a bad idea to burn it and fight it like in L4D2.

More than likely he used console commands to spawn 2 tanks with infinite health, set 1 on fire and had their AI turned off, then once he was ready he probably turned their AI back on and spawned a AI survivor at the end of the bridge for the tanks to run after. Just my thought on how he might have done it.

An explanation: The versus mode tank is slower than the campaign mode tank when on fire because the fire is dealing constant damage to the player in versus. On campaign fire starts a timer that will kill the tank eventually, while in versus it deals a constant trickle of damage. Since damage slows down player controlled infected, even the speed boost from the fire in the core mechanics can not help keep the tank from slowing down in versus due to the massive slowdown from the damage.

Please can you do the same test on L4D2? I would like to know if this is also true for the second game, I suspect it is, I wish vs (its the only mode I play) was more infected biased to make things more equal and this would certainly give the edge to whoever had the tank because 9times out of 10 you get molo'd as soon as you spawn (not to mention the ever so great spawning IN fire..) !
