Explain why so many fast ETs are posted by autos. No a manual loses boost because you can't release the throttle, engage the clutch, throw the shifter, then disengage the clutch and re-engage the throttle as fast as an auto can change gears.

understand that when you gain decent amounts of boost you are at 50 mph. in second, with your gear ratio would have you would be at 2000-2500 rpm in second @ 20mph. if it took you a ridiculous 5 seconds to get from 2000/2500 to 4000 rpm your car does not have 516 lb/ft of torque. but lets put that aside. ok, so youre at 50 mph@4000 rpm (it actually may be 4500 rpm) and it still takes you 17 seconds to get from 50-135? uh how the fuck does that work? it makes absolutely no sense. elaborate please

I thought that the third gear issues were resolved, as was the "rev hang". The Si's manual tranny has been hailed as one of the best in the business. I've sat in one of these at an auto show, and couldn't get past the awkward expanse of dashboard. I suppose one can get used to it.

and the reason autos dont lose boost is because there is no clutch. haha you are ridiculously ignorant. autos have a smooth, and slow, transition from gears that does not involve complete loss of power from the engine to the transmission through a clutch, which is why in manuals you lose boost. congrats, youre a fucking moron.

what does a clutch have to do with the throttle closing? If it's so "smooth and slow" explain how auto GTs are pulling faster ETs than 5 speed ones making more power?
Explain why so many fast ETs are posted by autos. No a manual loses boost because you can't release the throttle, engage the clutch, throw the shifter, then disengage the clutch and re-engage the throttle as fast as an auto can change gears.
The throttle closes in each, in the auto it just opens up again fast enough

do you realize not all cars shift at the same speed? your mustang was not designed to shift like an M3. an experienced driver will always out shift an auto. the only exception is the M series BMWs with the sequential manual gearbox and fucking F1 cars. and another thing, youre fucked from a roll. by the time you floor it and your car downshifts into the right gear i will already be 1 or 2 car lengths in front of you. bottom line, u should have gotten a stick, pussy.

understand that when you gain decent amounts of boost you are at 50 mph. in second, with your gear ratio would have you would be at 2000-2500 rpm in second @ 20mph. if it took you a ridiculous 5 seconds to get from 2000/2500 to 4000 rpm your car does not have 516 lb/ft of torque. but lets put that aside. ok, so youre at 50 mph@4000 rpm (it actually may be 4500 rpm) and it still takes you 17 seconds to get from 50-135? uh how the fuck does that work? it makes absolutely no sense. elaborate please
