  • Dude.... Nut, you watch cutlerylover, right? If so, why did he close his account?

  • @QwertyQwaf he didn't it got hacked.. its open again

  • Love that the 1-2-3 developer couldn't make it strobe

  • the quark mini aa2 is riding in my pocket now, by FAR the best Edc light I have ever used.'

  • Just bought my Preon 2 tonight! Nutnfancy is quite the salesman. :-D

  • I really think the Quark mini 123 is the best light for the dollar. That being said you cannot beat a HDS 200 tactical clicky

  • Is the the product made in the USA?

  • Wow right in my eye.

  • Awesome.....must have one now!

  • Two Preons today thanks to Nutn + this vid -- one from PFIdude! Love that black and custom pink finish (separately, duh)...

    A+ stuff. A+ reviews. Can't be beat...

  • i love 4sevens and support them 100% after watching all your reviews about there lights i was very interested but when i just received my first flashlight from them i was kind of disappointed :( but i ordered the Quark aa2 s2 version thinking it was going to be a little better from reading about it, But it has a slightly green tint which isnt a clean feeling whenever i turn it on or compare it to my ld20 ld20 looks cleaner n a little better in throw. unscrewing tailcap itd alwys pinch the o-ring

  • I have to apologize, but if the inventor has difficulty actuating his own product..it's too complicated. The KISS rule applies to what should be a simple product. The more you diverge from on/off, the more controls you should have. These are the Rubik's cubes of flashlights.Necessity is the mother of all invention, and the necessity should be simple lighting. LOL,"Ooops" AND "..missed it again!" Not bad product, just unnecessary design. Then again maybe I'm on the Rube Goldberg channel, my bad.

  • 4Sevens needs to make head-band and bicycle attachments or even a dedicated forehead lamp. If I want to go hands-free (and I do) I'm pretty much staying with Fenix.

  • lol "We won't say anything about that."

  • nutn, thanks for the reviews. I have never been into flashlights or preparedness until I got married last year and I now have a famliy to protect. Your reviews have saved me alot of time, extra effort, and MONEY! ... I'm getting the Quark 123, Quark Mini, and I'm getting a Fenix. Your project is the "real deal holyfield".

  • where is 4sevens made at

  • nutn, what do you think of the streamlight ploystinger? im getting a new duty flashlight and i wanted to get your take on it

  • nutn if it was like the apocolipse and u could only bring one flashlight with u what flashlight would u bring?

  • I'm not a cannot. I call it from experience. I have a mini 123 and a preon 2. They are good lights but I would rather have a surefire like Titan or ra hds clicky if my life depended on it. The preon 2 titanium I have feels cheap. It's a good light but the seems lacking in toughness.

  • there are basically olights.....or the other way around

  • This lights are nice but the build quality is no where near a surefire or a hds ra clicky. I own a few of these lights and yes the put out a lot of light but the are no where near as tough as surefire.

  • @ProvidentTools fanboy

  • I rather just get a full size LED Mag-Lite for 25 bucks. Im sorry i dont see the point of these little things for 4 times the price.....

  • hmm, i guess shouldve watched this video 2 nights ago when i bought a Quark AA2 from 4sevens for my dads xmas gift.... thankfully i chose the right one for him, whew! ;)

  • YOU SHOULD REVIEW THE NEW MAELSTROM FLASHLIGHT FROM 4 SEVENS

  • Veri, tell David Chow he just sold another Preon thanks to his hospitality towards Nutn in this video alone. I didn't even need a flashlight and neither did 2 of my other friends who bought one tonight.

  • @LordChrisHimself Wasn't David the greatest? We think so. SHOT Show is right around the corner again....hard to believe its almost been a year now. -- Veri

  • @LordChrisHimself

    I became a 4Sevens fan after watching this video and I bought a Preon2.

  • @LordChrisHimself uknow i dont think they would have any objection to you just sending them money :P

  • I love my Preon 1 R5 flashlight, but then when I had to deal with 4sevens customer service after receiving an underperforming Preon 1 S2 version, I don't think I'll ever buy anything from a company like them. BatteryJunction, at least, apologized when I was unsatisfied with a light I purchased from them and even offered to HANDPICK the brightest and whitest light out of 10. 4sevens, on the other hand will tell you it's unfair for them to do that. I just want what they advertised.

  • @nutnfancy Did you get the titanium series quark lights featured in this vid

  • SIMPLY AWSOME!!!! This will be a great gift for the each family member this year.

  • i want that big fuckin club of a light behind the titanium quarks

  • I was just checkin out 4Sevens website for the first time.

    FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING???

    Are you kidding me?

This is flatout frickin amazing, that's how you catch lifetime customers me being their newest one!

  • @VinceFull

Yep. They have always had free shipping. :) A great company.

  • @flashlightfreak9 exactly....or a "change jar" that adds up really fast...

  • can you mount these on an ar15 or are they not strong enough to handle recoil?

  • @Bloodstryke

Check out the new 4Sevens Maelstrom G5

  • @mememe123xyz thank you!

  • @Bloodstryke

Nutnfancy has a video of the Quark 123 Squared (dunno how to type the little 2) Turbo mounted on a 12 gauge shooting off full power rounds, and it held up fine. However, I think the Maelstrom is intended to be used as a weapon light more than the Quark Turbo is.

  • @Bloodstryke Easily

  • I NEED ALITTLE HELP NUTNANCY OR ANYBODY WHO CAN HELP ME. I NEED A GOOD RECHARGERABLE FLASHLIGHT WITH STROBE. ALSO IT MUST HAVE 250LUMEN OR MORE THAT HAVES A FAR THROW. THERES TOO MANY LIGHTS OUT HERE. WHICH ONES ARE THE BETTER ONES

  • ya think these are the best flashlights you can buy 4 7's

  • Great lights. Just picked up a Quark mini single AA wow! super bright!

This light is great when you are looking for something in the woods at night.

I does suck the bats fast so bring a few or a 2nd light.

Super small and super light! these folks know their lights

  • Just got my Preons today.. both are AWESOME!

  • @flashlightfreak9 I try also but fail. I like the stuff I buy but not so cheerful about the fact that I owe people money. lol

  • @flashlightfreak9 youtube, HID torch, lots of videos out there

  • @flashlightfreak9 true but i am spending money i do not have also.

  • @flashlightfreak9 i have a few HID flashlights and they are by far better then any LED, when needed to light up a area, all the rest are just kids toys

  • hellfighter flashlights r better

  • It's a pity that David Chow refuses to speculate possible projects on CPF any-more, due to a few imbeciles and a bit of criticism.

Easiest way to gain overall feedback from a wide cross section of the community worldwide is there.

  • I am starting to notice the more of your videos I watch the lighter my wallet gets.

  • rubish. go HID

  • diggin the flashlight vids dude-

  • just bought a quark 123^2 tactical!!!!

  • That S1200 can´t hit the stores fast enough, i want to buy it right now.

  • my favorite city in the world!!!! Nutnfancy, you're always wecome in Las Vegas!!

  • after seeing the "Quark AA2 Tactical flashlight: Pack Leader" video i will now be buying the Quark 123² Tactical, R5 Edition

  • @mastersniper13 hehe stand in the line.. i want to buy one too..and i dont need it!

  • @sharky0922 are they back ordered or something? i dont want to buy one if i wont get it for a while. im new to this online purchasing stuff.

  • David Chow. Leslie Chow's brother from the hangover.

  • I just got my new Red Preon 2 in the mail literally 10 minutes ago. First impressions, meh it's alright. I lost my fenix LD20 in a field exercise a while ago so I'm comparing the quality to that. It's very shaky, meaning when i shake it I can feel the batteries jumping around inside. The clicky button has quite a bit of movement side to side, so it feels kind of cheap when you click it. My first impression isn't that great, hopefully the performance will overcome my feeling of disappointment.

  • Most excellent vid bro. David Chow seems like such a nice guy. I am wanting to stick with Surefire but 4Sevens seems to be just making crazy good torches. Damn.

  • Even though this clip is a few months old now it's good to see those chunky prototypes of the upcoming models. Although ironically the G500 is the model I'm interested in the most as I think it can be powered by an 18650.

Although I've recently "discovered" high CRI and am not sure if I want to buy anything with run-of-the-mill CRI anymore.

  • #t=2m40s

that's actually what you see when you divide by zero

  • weres the link i need the small sst 90 with the new batterise s1200 ???

  • 4Sevens has really good deals I've done business with them before.

  • Just got a Prion 2 Ti, the thing is amazing.

  • Just got my Quark 123 Tac, LOVE IT BRIGHT AS ALL HELL!!!! THANKS NUTN!!!!

  • I ordered a Quark AA² R5, but its been on back order for almost a month now :( I am still waiting

  • Awesome deal on 4seven site right now. Nitecore SR3 50% off retail. Thought I would pass along the deals.

  • ooooh i wanna see a review on the preon 2!

  • Will you be reviewing any 4Sevens lights nutnfancy?

  • @Fizzoid Yes he will.

  • @Fizzoid he did :)

  • Yeah, he must have been listening :)

  • Wow, excellent vid for the millionth time, I think? ;)

I'm hooked on the Quark mini 123 now!

  • Are these lights designed to by mounted to rifles/shotguns and withstand the recoil?

  • Where's the weapon lights and mounts?

  • I just got my 4sevens Quark AA2 Tactical in the mail yesterday and it is awesome. Thanks for this video.

  • where did you buy it from?

  • Great video as always.

FYI: Brinkmann Armormax PN# 809-1085-1 is a 140 lumen_3aaa flashlight that works very well as a light duty tac light. Cut off the rubber grip and wrap 6 layers of electrical tape on the barrel and a 30 MM scope ring fits perfectly.

I just bought my 3rd one...

  • The Olights are awesome and great prices and I think far better than many other brands! Especially the Olight M20 Warrior and Triton M30 Rock!!

  • I bet that S1800 could do a 200 yard throw. It was holding strong 50 yards across a very bright room... I would love to see what it could do at night.

  • Thanks for this great video. I have to admit that I blew past all the other light videos. But this one truly turned the light on for me :D

Going to purchase one of the 4Sevens cause of the great video and the amazing quality for the amount of money. Its such a great deal, I cant pass it up..

  • Thanks Nutnfancy for this excellent video.

  • you are my hero. This video has opened up my eyes to 4sevens. Been using my Stinger for a while now might move on to the Quark turbos now. Thanks again nutnfancy, videos help out a lot!

  • very informative, I like it, I was looking for hand held lighting, to assist on my home video taking, I think I found it. Love the little one

  • Oh man! That Olight SR90 Intimidator was just sitting there that entire time and they didn't even mention it! I know its POU doesn't really fall under the nutnfancy's projects norm but I would have loved to see just a small glimpse of that 2200lumen beast. Anyway, great video as usual, I LOVE the nutnfancy project!

  • can you get rechargeble versions? , i hate having to buy batteries all the time.

  • You can buy rechargeable batteries...

  • thanks.

  • great again!

  • Does he not look like harold from harold and kumar!!!!!!?

  • I had no idea $sevens was out there, loved the look of the mini 123 so I ordered one direct from there site.

FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING! (listed as 1st class international shipping at $10.76 cost to them) on an order worth $63.00 including the $5.00 insurance.

They may be a little more than the distributors but I doubt the other stores will be throwing in free shipping. Couldn't be happier so far.

  • mini 123 turned up, outstanding little light!

  • So Guys,

what is the best place to buy 4Sevens lights?

  • @kauxkaux 4sevensDOTcom

  • I'm getting a Preon!!! Love it! 160 Lumens? NICE!!!!

  • Speaking of the Fenix headband, I use the otherwise useless over the head strap as a arm band with the extra lamp holder.

  • Your best SHOT Show video yet. I look forward to your visit to the Benchmade booth!

  • I thought he did a great job.

  • Thanks for another killer video! Love it.

  • Looking forward to some 4seven light reviews!

  • Stop talking about Fenix!

  • Damnit, at the 14:20-ish mark nutnfancy says "Thats a pocket light right?" and I spit my coffee out! lol!!!!!

  • Love this video, very informative. I am especially interested in that prototype flashlight with the lithium phosphate battery, hope to see more of that

  • I have a regular quark 123 and it is absolutely amazing! Perfect EDC for me.

  • Nutin' have you checked out the Ezellta lights. They are made here in KY and they had a booth this year at the show. I looked at one a few weeks ago at Buds and was very impressed.

  • Hi Roarkfabworks: The company is actually spelled Elzetta. Nice durable light for a small company & pretty bright. You can also google their site as well to find out more about them. Funny thing is they TOO have imitated from what 4Sevens has done with "chroming" out there model light, but they added a signature on the body-that's different. Very aggressive look. I like actually like it. Still have to defer to 4Sevens, because of their PRICE & QUALITY, still a nice light though, Later, Lad...

  • Dude, what was that freakin huge light in the middle of the table? Was that an actual light or just a novelty? Anybody know? Awesome review, btw.

  • @MrDamascusman thats what i was thinking. that thing is huge!! (thats what she said)

  • LOL

  • Feedback? How about a non tactical turbo head, please?

  • I bought a Coleman flashlight for camping/hiking/biking and its pretty small, and I like it. All metal body and very durable... Only about 75 lumens, but works well for what I NEED, simple and effective that's my motto... You don't need the over-hyped crap.

  • I am impressed by the amount of effort he puts in this project.

  • Hey Slyder: I checked some links on CPF and read some bad reviews. After reading these bad reviews I tried to find ANY website that actually owns this product line. Couldn't find it. That should tell you something. I'm a RESELLER for 4Sevens, Fenix, Eagletac and a few others & I've tried MANY lights, THERE'S NOTHING FOR PRICE & QUALITY THAT MATCHES A 4SEVENS. Try a 4Sevens & you'll find out why. Only thing I buy from UltraFire is their chargers.

  • I have the Ultrafire WF-502B in front of me now and I'm happy with durability, the bezelled cap and the 250 lumens. I ordered from dealextreme and with free shipping it cost $16 about. The only 4Seven I've seen cost a lot more and was less bright. Cost is a big factor, and quality is high in my opinion.

  • Have you done a side-by-side comparison or are you going by the reading on the box?

  • Dealextreme is a great sight. They have a tonne of good Cree based torches.

  • I'll definitely have to try some 4sevens lights out!

  • 666 rating :3

  • I apologize for the multiple, repetative posts.

And for some reason I can't delete them either.

I've been accused of spamming this video - That was not my intent. I don't know how the multiple posts happened.

I'll keep trying to remove the duplicates.

  • I wish I could go to SHOT show.... they have so many cool lights and lasers, but of course defense and VIP only :(

  • great videos!

  • wonderful video!

  • Awesome intro! 5 stars as ALWAYS. Nutnfancy is the best on Youtube! TNP!!!!

  • hey nutn/viewers, what light would You recommend for edc? those coloured quarks look pretty sweet/affordable(soz forgot the name lol) but are they really the best choice? price point anywhere up to 60 not including shipping, any advice would be appreciated

  • i like 1xAA form factor for edc. in that category, i'd recommend either a Fenix ld10 or Nitecore d10... emphasis on the Fenix ld10 -- i've had UI issues with all of my d10s

  • It really depends on if you want something narrow and long or short and fat. I edc a streamlight stylus pro (previously reviewed in TNP) and it rocks one mode at 24 lumens. Or you could go with one of those quarks or a Fenix LD05, which I have no experience with. Than if you like short and fat lights you could get A Fenix L1D or LD01, maybe even a Nitecore ez series or D series. Also, you can get the best of both worlds with a Streamlight Microstream, a scaled down Stylus Pro.

  • haha awesome! i should go to there website and check em out =P

  • excellent work!

  • 11:53 - Why in the world is there a pocket clip on that thing?! Who would want to carry that bulky SOB in their pockets?! Lets hope it's removable.

  • I bet its removable but if not its a good idea because it can hook on a backpack or something else

  • @clubtc05:

That's what I was thinking too. Still, that's a bit heavy to clip and hang off of something (IMO).

    I'd prefer a belt sheath.

    ATF

  • WOW beautiful... just ordered a pair of those pencil like lights! Thanks for introdyce to the brand, I didnt know them.

  • Why didn't you pick up that Olight SR90 and show us that light!!!???

  • did i miss the cree RGB led, or was it not featured? i'd love one with AA's...

  • Interesting stuff... hell, until TNP I thought a maglite with 6 D's was the way to go:) Still makes a good thump-o though lol

  • I've had several law enforcement folks holding their flashlights in a certian way to look at my papers ect. One night it dawned on me that they was in a position to give me a major headache if I got outta hand. Never happened though. Always had too much respect for them. My father taught me that when I was young.

  • @gnashings Same here :)

  • Heck, I even have the patrol version, with the charger, wall-mounts and all the crap - 'twas a gift. A most useless one to tell you the truth...

Can anyone guess why I NEVER actually used it? :D

BTW, the battery is NiCd (not even HiMh) and is ALWAYS depleted...

  • the one light they had on the table was that a defense light lol was the size of a billy club i was waiting for him to tell u about it awsome job

  • Haha, how'd you like vegas? And another question... Did you check out the shooting park?

  • I was looking for a small light package that packs a punch.. the mini 123 is it!!! great vids!!

  • I like watching these and watching the face expressions the vendors give you when you critique their items. They are use to only mentioning the pros and it looks like they die a little on the inside when they face a reasonable argument to their design. lol, awesome job my friend.

  • I'm actually looking for a duty flashlight..thanks..for sure something to consider

  • You are blowing me away right now Nutn...

  • nutn posted on twitter: Hey dudes: as you can see I'm maxed putting together and getting out my 2010 SHOT Show vids. Others that are coming out are: Arsenal, Springfield Armory, Smith and Wesson, Benchmade, Marlin, Davidson's(GalleryOfGunsdotcom), 5.11 Tactical Gear, BlackHawk Tactical, Xcaliber Airsoft, RockRiver Arms, TAPCO, and maybe 1 or 2 more. - nutn

  • awesome

  • Wow - that's a lot of booth visits... excellent job!

  • I just ordered the Quark 123 R5, and it got backordered! the wait is killing me!

  • NUTN!! I looked EVERYWHERE trying to bump into you at the Shot Show... hated I couldnt find you.

  • All the coolest don't have distributors in my country! =( I want a 4Sevens!! =(

  • @TechnoZombie Order from the 4sevens site, they ship internationally for free via usps first class international.

  • Strict customs laws make it difficult ordering overseas =\

  • I don't like when you cut video like that 3:25 Make me think why hi cut? What I missing? :-)

  • This is the best week for Nutnfancy videos ever. Thanks for your hard work and keep it up.

  • Comment removed

  • @1PATRI0T You are missing the point of them sure its brighter then a Surefire, sure fire is over priced and old technology, these are VERY durable and are hard to break that "$10 Surefire" will break n like 5 minutes of "Tactical" use and these lights can be mounted on firearms, can that "$10 Surefire" be?

  • Comment removed

  • ive seen the video before like 3 months ago and that light was crap haha Surefire is somewhat crap lol they us bulbs and they think everyone is rich and 95% probably 100% of surefire lights can be weapons mounted clips are for pocket use. I have used the walmart flash light he was using in the video and ive broken like 5 of them cuz they are so unreliable, u chunk that light out in the street and i bet it'll break and they arent even water resistant! throw a 4 7s and itll work ur just spam i bet

  • @TechnoRAWR

"ive seen the video before like 3 months ago and that light was crap haha Surefire is somewhat crap lol they us bulbs and they think everyone is rich and 95% probably 100% of surefire lights can be weapons mounted clips are for pocket use"

    Was that English?

  • @Spanky00Cheeks Ok Einstein, I could sit here and write a english paper, but unlike you I have a Live.

  • This is one of the most illegible comments I have ever had the displeasure of deciphering.

  • Another good one for the project...Nice lights and great power... I kinda wish they would durra coat them like your rifle and your knife... Those are sweet colours... Another great vid Nutn...Wel it's getting dark out, gotta go buy a flash light....

  • what do you have to do to get in shot show

  • I just bought a Mini Quark....Good review Nutn....Thanks

  • .... here i was ready to buy a streamlight and nutnfancy got me buying a mini123 now... evil i tell you.

  • Nutfancy keepin it real...again

  • Never seen Nutn without a hat on, guess he's bald.

  • As unemployed and broke as I am, David Chow was such a good salesman I will buy the 123.
