its a trail burger hahaha we made them in scouts too but we used cabbage .. we layered it cabbage meat veggies cabbage they're awsomethe cabbage kept it from sticking and made for good taste it wasnt all cabbagey it was like a hamburger
i bet you can mix any thing in there like green peppers, cheese, mushrooms, etc:) gonna do this next time we bbq:D but with my own blend of what i like. real potatoes make me dump:(
What would you think about putting in the oven if I dont have a grill? How long would you cook it and at what temp? I am not the best cook, but this looks like something I could do to throw stuff together.
@TheSlimJen We haven't tried it in an oven yet, Jen. I'd say in a 400-450 degree oven for 45ish mins or so, turning halfway through. ~Rebecca (the other half of pouchfriendly)
Yeah!!!! I was so happy to see you did a new recipe and I'm sure that even my kids will like this. I'm looking forward to cooking this tomorrow. Thank you for helping those of us who are cooking impaired :)
I liked how you said Rutabagas...I say it wrong since I am in the south..it's sounds like Rootabeggers when I say it...lol. I am gonna make this ASAP...I love stuff like this and the added squash is a great idea. Thanks yall!
I love that did this. I`ve been making hobo dinners most of my life. Cabbage & zuccini are good in them too
