The apostle Paul before he became a Christian, when he was the pharisee Saul and zealously persecuted Christians was very sincere. He was very sincere early on. But that didn't make him right.

How would you possibly know what God's standards are? Because you read it in a book?Cmon...grow up. In your own mind God exists, Greg, that doesn't make it so.Therefore your ideas about what you think is a "Godstandard" is also void unless you can prove it.Prove your first statement that God exists first, then you can talk about what God supposedly wants as a standard.
God's standard is perfection - beyond our comprehension or understanding... Our ever changing hypocritical standards are inspired by the fashion of the world we live in - our peers -parents and so on... Our morals and ethics have a price tag... They go flying out the window at some point of time - during trial or adversity...
The existence of God is not irrational - when you consider an action like a murder and deem it to be morally right or wrong, on what basis do you make that inference... Someone may say there is nothing wrong with murder and rape... So, on what basis do you differentiate between good and evil? If there is an absolute universal moral law, there has to be a moral law-giver...
@themessiah777 basically youre saying if you never heard of god or jesus or morals you would in fact be a very immoral person, you would rape ad murder and pillage and destroy? no my friend, morals are ever evolving. even still. bible teaches hate towards gays and justifies slave ownership. absolute perfect morality is not written anywhere, it is evolving as we are becoming more civilized. as WE EVOLVE. we learn from ourselves how to behave to allow a functioning society.
@nickallah bahaha "so what you're saying" Is we make our own standard of morality that we can break whenever it's most beneficial to us?
Yeah people "hate" people that break the law on a daily basis.. do you find that immoral as well? You have no ultimate standard by which to judge. Atheists trying to explain what is morality, is just pathetic; what makes it moral? Stop stipulated case by case examples and answer the question; what is the basis for morality?
@MRKetter81 youre too blind to see how youre arguing from ignorance. just because morality is a tough concept to wrestle, does not pave way for a super entity. scientific ignoramuses have been doing that for centuries. explaining away mysterious events with leaps of conclusions towards a sky daddy. morality is based on facts, logic and honest discussion. facts and logic can construct an objective model by themselves. morality is figured out like math n science.n theyr not subjective.
So who gave that law? imperfect man? no way... Only a Holy God could give the perfect Holy law to mankind... and He made the perfect sacrifice to effect the perfect salvation gift for an imperfect mankind...
WOW! #Thank you ;)

@MRKetter81 um dude, the answer is literally RIGHT above your comment to me... u mean, thers still no answer to me..thought so

@nickallah You give no answer and you will get none.
Love how you parrot the same tone... but it still lacks the effect, and actually makes it sound exactly like the childish retort "You are too".
No you didn't "think so"; in fact I know little thought actually went in to the subtext you just disposed.
Bully me back some more and see where it gets you, because all I've heard so far is your pride has been hurt... too bad.
