'Near Miss 1' is easily corrected, lorry drivers are taught when exiting a vehicle to check their mirrors, because of the height of the vehicle it could injure someone passing on the offside of the vehicle. Maybe this should be integrated into the driving lessons. Much easier than 'training'

This ridiculous bullshit of having to wear hard hats in open air! Is the friggin sky going to drop on their heads? There is FAR too much regulation of the nanny state - if people can't be responsible for their own actions, then all this 'pc' crap won't change a bloody thing! - Except make life more intolerable for the majority of people who DO have half a brain! And being really pedantic - WHY is the current very annoying trend of pronouncing the word' us' as uz ? Bloody 'sheeple'!
