Their system errors they call are nothing but their bucket group not doing their job correctly and their reps never do what they are supposed to do Anyone with any q's about fairpoint I would be happy to tell all
It's funny how many videos there are of you people in new England bitching about FairPoint. Truth be told, 9 out of 10 of you are too stupid to have technology in your house anyway.
I dont get this error but the DSL is slow in central maine. I dunno if its the old ass outdated lines they use or mine but I ran a new phoneline from the phone co. box to the computer room and it it a little faster at times but still too slow. maybe it's in the phone co's lines and not mine but it's like I'm on a dirt road as far as the information superhighway.
I did a test using one of those sites and it was terrible. youtube barely works b/c you have to buffer the videos so I pause it and luckily my PS2 is right next to my PC I can play games while it downloads. Upload speeds are a joke. uploading a video to youtube will take forever with a direct from camera upload vs compressing it to .wmv with moviemaker which screws with the quality of the videos.
Having had Charter rip us off we swiched to verizon and got 2x the speed for half he price... Now we get disc 5X a day with fairpoint. I hate them to death. Its hard to say but even VERIZON was better than Fairpoint. I mean Verizon was smart to sell and go full - duhhh where is the money - but we got screwed in VT with Fairpoints retarded DSL.
Fairpoint is working on the DSL, stop fucking complaining about fairpoint. Verizon wasn't going to do shit.. little man, Fairpoint is cleaning up the mess verizon left behind plus try and make you happy.

Fairpoint=NOT a telecommunications company! They just buy other companies! Their stock is BB (junk stock). They are financially unstable, have the WORST customer service record in the COUNTRY and have stated that they will FINALLY have DSL in 92% of NNE by 2015!

Your ignorance is amazing. Verizon currently does not offer DSL across ANY of the three states it is selling off and FairPoint on the other hand (who has a proven track record working with more rural communities) has pledged to expand DSL service throughout the area. You should be thankful for this sale not angry. Just because someone is smaller doesn't mean they can't offer top tier service...And, no I am not a FairPoint employee
