I agreed with everything he said, but for once I am proud to say that Valenti was wrong about us making the tournament. Will he be talking about them on his show now? He said he would reconsider if they made the tournament.

-In fact carrying off from that MSU only overtook Iowa in the series (of 100+ games) back in 1998. And your only 9 games ahead of us. You have every right to look down at us.....

-Mike is right that Iowa is pretty bad right now. Guess that makes MSU really fucking ashamed of themselves right about now.....maybe not.

-I also disagree about Angry mike's comment on Iowa's coaches. Tom Davis done in '99. Alford took over until 2007. Lickliter sucked so we got McCaffery. That's 4 coaches in 25 yrs. That's not that bad compared to dozens of other schools.

-Iowa is so bad that MSU owns a 62-53 all-time record vs Iowa...talk about Hawkeye garbage.

@bganepola no its not pathetic. Its the absolute truth. "If you don't wanna be there.. GO HOME!!" State loss by 27 points last night. Somehow Summers thinks he has NBA potential with his one dimensional talent. Summers has no leadership and parks his ass outside the wing, plays ZERO defense, ZERO respect for the game and doesn't drive or attack the rim. Izzo is fed up with this Kid and ready to cut summers from the Spartans. Draymond Green is the only dedicated player on State roster.

@bganepola most of the time, it's about the legacy of their senior years, I'm gonna remember Lucas and Summers as players who did very well their first 3 years, and remembering they fucked it up their senior years after such great 3 seasons before this, I loved them but now, I'll remember them as douchebags who had no leadership in the end

I generally can't stand listening to Valenti because he's a crybaby about EVERYthing. He was pissing and moaning about Tom Izzo and the MSU team for the last two years ... just before they went on a run to the championship game and the Final Four!

That said, I'm in full agreement with everything he said in this rant. He's absolutely right. And it's a disgrace to one of the greatest coaches ever, and to all of the great players who helped build the program.
