Nice playing. I think the clawhammer style sounds very nice with the guitar on slower paced songs and especially modal tunes. The sustain of the guitar and the added bass notes give maybe a different kind of depth or at least a very different quality then what the banjo does. Have you heard of Alec Stone Sweet? He has a lovely cd full of clawhammer solos on the guitar. Check it out if you already haven't.
