la ultima película del cuarteto de liverpool grabada en 1969 y proyectada en 1970 la idea del film era que mostrara a the beatles trabajaban tras la grabación de su álbum que llevaría el mismo nombre Let It Be siendo que las grabaciones provocaran varios problemas entre ellos, ya que el fina del film fue un concierto en la azote de los studios abbey road

I MUST SEE THIS! what is this movie particularly about? is it a documentary film on the let it be album sessions? is it about whole beatles history dating back to 1957 when they were quarrymen?

@rissygirly22 The Original Idea was the Get Back Project with the intent for The Beatles to get Back to thier Rock N" Roll Roots (Mainly done Because they were Breaking Up and they mabye were in a Denial about it, ok John, George, and Ringo knew it was happening but Paul would not accept it) were they would be filmed Rehearsing and Recording their new album initally titled Get Back and at the End of All the Reahearsing they would do a Big Live Concert somewhere of Their Choosing...

@rissygirly22 But it turned out to be a diasaster (Not Music Wise) but because there were so many tensions withen the Group...To a point they were running out of time and they needed to think of a place to preform so they Chose the Rooftop of The Apple Offices which turned out to be The Famous Rooftop Concert. this all took place in January 1969 but was not released on Record or in Film untill mid 1970 because of many different Businesses Defferences they were having, and the Film turned

@rissygirly22 Out to be just a Documentary of a Group Breaking up and Was Renamed Let it Be, The Film was Released on Vhs in the Early 80's but it was Discontinued towards the Late 80's which now to but a copy of the film on VHS on Amazon or Ebay it cost like $100 because it is so rare, they were planning to do a DVD Release of the Film with all kinds of Bonus Material but the idea was scrapped Because The Bonus Material was Very Graphic and there was a lot of fighting and Arguing amongst them

EXTREMELY UNDERRATED FILM, beautifully shot, captures history. It really does. It is a sad time, the Beatles are breaking up, but it's really a no-nonsense raw view of their talent, and a time capsule of what it was really like for future generations. I hope Paul and Ringo change their minds and the restored film is released on DVD.

I have to admit, I've never seen this movie, and I don't think I ever can. It's just so depressing when you know that this was the end for The Beatles.

i dont think it will be released whilst paul/ringo are alive,i have seen the movie its a sad affair,they look bored and fed up etc,one of the reasons i suspect it wont be released yet is pauls dominateing in the movie,trying to keep the band together

oh and if they ever do release it,expect your local record shop to make a massive profit on it,instance my local hmv where looking for a €100 for beatles anthology boxset,i told them to fuck off and i bought it online for €50 on amazon!

There are no plans to release the DVD of Let It Be infinitum. MR Mccartney does not like the bad light he is portrayed in by MR Harrisons contemptuos utterances of "Tell me how you want me to play it, or if you prefer I wont play at all"......Let it be is on YOU TUBE in 10 10 minute segments NAKED seek it and you will find it.....

PAUL: " So[...] the idea[at Apple] is to re-release "Let it Be" as a dvd, but also to have the soundtrack, which is just the stripped-down version, which is basically us guys playing unadorned, but I think its a strong record that way."

'Let It Be...Naked' saw the light of day six years ago, in November 2003, but the DVD never happened.

40 years since the film's release next year.

One could only hope.

AbbeyRd`s Beatles Page has confirmed with Apple spokesperson: We do have plans to release it some time in the future.

This was last summer.
