Man just bought this from Fox UK music, and its totally amazing. Playing wise and it looks very gorgeous as a guitar model. Recommend to anyone looking to buy one of these..consult Fox as they gave me an incredibly good deal!!
ja das ist möglich, kein problem. aber ich würde das von einem guten gitarrenbauer einbauen lassen, da einige modifikationen am hals nötig sind damit der rollen-sattel gut passt
@MATandBENgetLOADED hahaha, of course!! strats are made of alder or ash, and both woods have bite as hell!! and the emgs make even les Pauls sound agressive. they don't really care about wood, it sounds like emg with little variations on every guitar.
@MATandBENgetLOADED Why would you want to? This is a blues/rock/hard rock guitar. You'd probably be better off with an Epi, ESP LTD, Gibson, Ibanez and the like. But, the Pearly Gates can get pretty aggressive if needed and you have the amp for it.
@MATandBENgetLOADED Why would you want to? That would ruin the guitar's mojo and vibe. This is a blues/rock/hard rock guitar. You'd probably be better off with an Epi, ESP LTD, Gibson, Ibanez and the like. But, the Pearly Gates can get pretty aggressive if needed and if you have the amp and hands for it.
As a black metal guitarist who plays this guitar... maybe even exactly THIS one since I bought the showroom model at that shop... I can tell you, you can make it sound aggressive as hell as it is, without the EMGs. But it can do much more than just that, hich is why I play it.
HSS Stratocaster are really nice. I'm going to buy this one and put a Bare Knuckle Miracle man Humbucker in the bridge (a high gain passive pickup) so that I'll be able to get metal tones with the bridge position and classic Strat clean sound with the two single coils.
i bought this guitar i swear to dear god it can play anything.....unless you want overflowing hi gain you can even shred it aswell very fast guitar and has so lovley feel
Usually the action on a out of the box guitar is ok. I am a rythem player playing chords and barre chords. So the action is ok for me. But a more experienced guitar player might take it to a music store and have it set up. The humbucker is high output. I tend to prefer guitars with maple fingerboards. But rosewoods are ok. It's all about the tone.
Well over 100 million people speak German in the world. I reckon these guys have a big enough market as it is without worrying about subtitles. There are plenty of English language clips out there for English speakers, and pitifully few of those come with subtitles for any other major world language such as Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Russian...
I got the Lone Star for about 2 years now. I needed a workhorse to go on tour in less than ideal conditions and wasn't looking for a Fender at all but than the guy convinced me to take a look at her and it's been my loyal main axe ever since. Sounds great and very reliable.
Went to have a look at one of these, I was shocked at how badly constructed it was, in fact all the strats I looked at were crap. I have a 93' ltd ed custom shop No 7 of 15 it blows anything fender are making now, the best I saw was the jeff beck signiture, it was ready to go,,,,,,
I'm thinking about buying this guitar, i mostly play rocky bluesy stuff, but I'm a big hardcore fan too, can anyone tell me how this guitar handles a heavier overdrive/distortion?
definitely not brutal or anything, but but nice and heavy...
@zactelfordmusic i have the lonestar strat and i run it through a crate vintage 50 3 10's all tube. i dont use the distortion channel i run it through an ibanez ts-9 tube screamer.
basically it sounds amazing, you can get some really good tone and distortion sound. it handles very well
i have 0.11 strings on my lonestar, i play through a line6 pod x3 live and a marshall valvestate, live sometimes through other amps. i like the sound alot. it's a good fat, warm sound, but it can also give you an awesome tone to play stuff like chuck berry or AC/DC
I dont have these pickups but the Pearly Gates can do distortion... all I have to say is Angus Young has these bad boys in his guitars and his custom Gibson so they can handle some distortion
Although I don't speak any German I found this video really helpfull! Very clear! Can you do a similar one for the Highway One Strat please? I'm torn between the two.
For those that are curious he's not really explaining anything too radical. Just "hello I'm from Musik-shmidt this a fender strat with Pearly gates, and it has three pickup slots, five combination, volume, 2 tone knobs with a floating tremolo going through "Box of Rocks"... essentially most of the gear does not have direct German translations so he has to "German-i-fy" it with proper accentuation's...to abuse a phrase
