  • I don’t get why people are saying they couldn’t understand you, I understood you perfectly. Thank you for doing this video, I’ve seen a few people making theses and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out the steps but after seeing it done its so much clearer.

  • Your instructions are very clear to me, all i wondered about was if the middle decrease continues on the wrong side as well or is it a knit only row. Thank you for a clear video, i wish i could have seen how you completed your project. Thanx.

  • Sorry I didn't pay attention to the page. I saw where it now said show more and I click that and got the insturction. Thanks.

  • Too much background noise to understand the directions.

  • @TheDoggirl3 I'll be honest - I didn't expect as many public views as this video has received. However, the instructions are within the video description if you can't make out what I've said!

  • @fleegle2 i've also just seen the instructions, its all clear now, Thanx.

  • You should mention that decrease is only every other row!

  • @KingLeoChannel I have the instructions listed in the description of the video - it explains you should knit across on every other row.

  • LOVE your colors! This looks like fun, can't wait to try! Thanks!

  • Great tutorial. Thanks.

  • Great tutorial. I'm going to go start making mitred squares now.

  • I haven't gotten that far with my blanket yet - I'm trying to make 80 squares and I'm just about 32, 33 done. Perhaps a Mattress Stitch? I would check there, or honestly, check on ravelry and see if you can find other mitered square blankets.

  • Fantastic Video, but can you tell me how to sew the squares together for an afghan?

  • @closeknitcookie67 The blanket is now complete and I couldn't really tell you what stitch I did to put it together (my seamstressie friend helped me with it). I would just choose your favorite join and go with it!

  • thanks!

  • Thank you for making this user friendly,

If in the near future you have any finish item you may want to place it on white background so the viewer can see the details of your wonderful work.

    Kyddoemiko.

  • @kyddoemiko If I had thought this was going to be viewed by more than my mother, I probably would have done that! LOL!!! :)

  • Thank you for posting this. I've never understood the printed instructions.

  • This is exactly what I needed to understand mitered squares. Thank you so much!

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. You helped make it so much clearer than those garldanged abbreviations in pattern books! I absolutely "get it" now.

  • The slipped st thing makes a flatter "seam" at the decrease spot than doing 2 (k2tog) next to each other?

Would you please right this down as a pattern?

  • Added to the sidebar.

  • Thanks, but I'm not sure what you mean. Please clarify.

  • Thanks for the tutorial. :-)

  • what size needles are you using and what gauge is the yarn.

  • I'm using size 8's - the yarn is Noro Silk Garden... I'm not really watching gauge as it's for a blanket and I figure as long as they are close enough that it will be fine.

  • one question... what do you do on the wrong side? do you just purl all the way across or do you also decrease?

    thanks!

  • I knit the entire wrong side - and do the decrease on the right side. The whole thing is completed in garter-stitch.

  • What yarn are you using?? thank you.

  • I was looking at pictures on the pattern I was doing and my corner looked nothing like it, lol. Thanks so much, now I know exactly what I was doing wrong and what to do now!
