i did exactly what you did but it wont record the sound off the video im trying to record, it wont even record what im saying on the mic but the bars are moving as if it is hearing but not moving for the sound of whats on the video, no sound from eother tho,  im using headphones an mic to hear, what am i doing wrong??

hey I'm trying the wmcapture with a movie but when it comes out its just a blackscreen with the audio still on. Do I have do some kind of step that I probably missed or to convert the caputred object.

when i record something and play it back, the sound is way off but the quality is good. is there a way i can fix this?

@iiZombifyYou You can adjust the playback by tweaking your settings.  The program does use a lot of CPU power to create the high-quality videos it records. Change the settings from MPEG2 to WMV and see if that helps. Also got to settings/recommended settings and adjust those settings to improve playback. I hope that helps.

@TheSebastianfischer WM Capture will record ANYTHING you can play on your PC screen - so if you can play it it can record it. If there is something you are playing on your PC that you are having trouble capturing let the tech support folks at WMR know. They will help.

@rayx167 WM Capture can record anything on your PC screen - the quality is great - BUT it does use a lot of processing power - so if your game does too then you might suffer some performance loss. Hard to know until you try it though. Just check out the demo.

You seem to know a LOT about computers. Doesn't Hulu get angry you show people how to hack their videos and save them. I can load any flv file from my computer EXCEPT places like Hulu. Is your video saved to desktop and what format does it use? I want to change it to avi. Thanks for your work!!!!!

Thanks for your comment. WM Capture offers two format options - wmv and mpeg-2 - you decide based on the quality you are looking for. If you want avi you'd need to convert whichever of these formats you use to avi. I hope that helps.

Thanks so much for posting this. I have had such a bad time getting this to work correctly. I had major studdering in my recordings. The audio on the capture is ten times better than the recorder. For some reason. the recorder has a reverb or sibilance that the capture does not. However the wm package is far superior to anything I have used so far. I highly recomend this to anyone wanting to grab media from the net.

If your PC has sufficient processing power - i.e. something not more than 3 years old or so - you will get gorgeous playback. But if you are trying to use this program on an old PC you may get lagging unless you set the settings just so.
