  • GT5 may well have pitstops but I found it so boring compared to Forza I sold my PS3 and the game after a week ;-).

  • wow this game is batter then foza4 look at all those car's in the pit line.

  • On lap 1/12?

  • @MrMychannel123 changing to rain tires

  • I see Gran Turismo still hasn't made the pitstop more realistic.

  • Monzaaa !!!!

  • geezz

  • geezz

  • I wish Forza would do pitstops like this.

  • @MMA94NYC "It does not match reality yet" listern to what he said. Gran Turismo isnt perfect but something as little as that you can let slip by. In comparison Forza's cars look more plastic than Jordans boobs.

  • mmmm 1st lap pitt. perfectt strategy.

  • This is Monza huh ?

  • @MMA94NYC It does not match reality yet ... but it is gorgeous compared to other games, especially Forza. There are worlds in between.

  • I can beat that car in 5 seconds with my uhh whatcha called?

    *cough* I am stupid :(

Oh well i won it from Like the Wind.

  • The pit stops are phenomenal compared to Forza's crap.

  • @brave884 Fuck off, K?

  • drive thru' for hamilton!!!

  • Unsafe pit release at 0:14

  • @siloPIRATE and at 0:27

  • a nissan 350z lm car vs a jaguar xjr-9 vs a minolta

    you are screwed

  • nissan 350 Z fairlady LM edition?

  • Aww hell, I didn't know GT5 had a fully animated pitcrew.

    PS3 and GT5 here I and my G25 come.

  • 0:14 pit fail

  • woow how you do that

  • @brave884 yeah boy much better than grannie turismo

  • @oIBj92 you got that rite..lolzz

  • @brave884 what a pathetic little bitch. Go drown in a bucket of cum.

  • @brave884 that comment gave me cancer

  • @brave884 i cant, my Xbox blew up. Knew i shouldnt have played Burnout :(

  • wtf lap1 pitstop

  • @jump4life5955 Haha I think it wasnt raining at the beginning of the race. If it starts to rain they have to change to rain tires or they will be sliding all over the place

  • @jump4life5955 its a bug that was in the game on release, the AI would choose the same tyres as you, so if you choose dry tyres for a wet track, they would pit lap one for wets.

  • Wtf he had 2 b-spec drivers in this race!

  • 0:14 Stupid lollipop man! :D

  • @NOTHlNG hahahah lmfao

  • unsafe release from yellow car

  • why "massive" ?

  • oh noes my ftd

  • lol @ 0:13, "Excuse me buddy, just driving through the front of your car to make a pitstop here."

  • @Xzercist o_O

  • Lol my guy is called l.England too.

    Psn:Random_Monkey_

  • Disappointed that even Forza 4 doesn't have this.

Is it me or is T10 ignoring and focusing less and less on the racing department of that game.

  • @URsuckishATlife of course forza 4 has pit stop

  • @URsuckishATlife Forza 4 has more racing than GT5 has, in the simulation department. But considering both GT5 and FM4 doesn't have the kind of 'detail' put into both Racing details and Racing simulation, being that FM4 is more for racing than it is for details, and GT5 more for racing detail than it actually is for racing, it's safe to say neither car is the greatest racing simulator.

If you own a PC, get Race Driver GRID, Dirt 3, NFS Shift 2 Unleashed, and/or rFactor, either one of the series.

  • @ArcanineKing all of those except for rfactor are available to consoles, and they are all a lot more arcadey than forza or gt5.

  • @lifethelifetoday

    @TheWestSideBboy

I'm not being a 'fanboy' since I'm not supporting either two of the games. I'm clearly telling people that GT is far from a simulator, since they're either underage or stupid to tell reality from arcade. A lot of comments saying it's realistic, it's a simulator and such just pisses me off.

Shift 2 has much better simulation and car physics, as well as rFactor and Racecar Driver GRID. You clearly haven't played these games, at all, not even with a wheel.

  • @ArcanineKing I can tell you know from my experiance in racing, Shift 2 is not realistic. Shift 2 is very far from the mark, the cars do not feel anything like what they should do on a racetrack, and the bluring element is ok at first, then it becomes annoying, for starters your helmet should never be in your perithial (sorry if thats spelt wrong) and you should never lose focus on the track, that said ive never crashed that badly. Grids very good, however its got arcady handling

  • @Garfie489 well thats why shift2 is a driving experience more than a simulation, but i wish it was because i dont like how gt5 you cant tone down the steering lock

  • opps i ment pits

  • Why did everyone even go into the race if it was only 3 minutes into the race? did it start raining or something?

  • you all talk crap gt5 is good but forza 4 is really good all you gt5 fans are jealous so you keep commenting on how great it is ive got a ps3 and a 360 gt5 just doesnt compare except the pit stops are bad on forza because there is no men they should update that but anyway forza is 100 times funner and more realistic.

  • guy at the back holding a bazooka :)

  • why didnt the yellow car get a unsafe release penalty?

  • Well this is about the only thing thats better on gt5 then forza the pitstops it must suck to own a ps3

  • @halodude510 pretty much everything is better in GT5 and miles better lol....it must suck having a 360 getting those tw shooting exclusives in one year followed by a gt5 wannabe xD glad i bought a Playstation.

  • @normalguyhere just try forza 4 and youll see why everyone is talking about it even rooster teeth people who love fps games and cod are playing it

  • @halodude510 i tried it. IT SUCKS

  • @lifethelifetoday I belive you didnt cause everyone who tried it didnt say that dont hate cause gt5 sucks just try forza 3/4 and youll cry your self to sleep untill u get it with an Xbox

  • "people who love fps games and cod are playing it". This is exactly why FM4 failed in simulation, too casual. ROFL. Thanks for pointing it out. :) Soon I'm gonna be racing with annoying fps kids online just because I beat them. Haha. Good thing GT5 always keep it serious.

  • @TheWestSideBboy "This is why FM4 failed in simulation" And GT5 failed worse in simulation. I've seen so many videos of drifters and 360s and 180s and even turning that seemed NOTHING like a simulation, other than the Arcadey feel of it. I used to love GT3 A-Spec, and I thought it was really realistic because of it's graphic superiority and handling, but no... Forza really did take it's physics from Pirelli tire simulation tests which generates a realistic grip on the road, unlike GT5.

  • If you're a controller gamer or a noob, yes you can do 360, 180, or whatever degree you want in any sim (obviously).. GT5 is a different game with a steering wheel, where Forza stays the same with or without steering wheel, except for clutch and H shifter. If you do some research, no matter how good your tire model is, or how impressive it looks, it all comes down to physics engine. Also you forgot the fact that there are dozens of tire developers, not just Perelli. LOL.

    P.S. GT5 is no GT3.

  • @TheWestSideBboy

    ...

You clearly misread my entire comment.

GT5 failed in simulation because it's far from a 'racing' simulator. NFS Shift 2's dev team did a much better work in getting car physics and racing factors right than GT5 and Forza 4, why? Because they used a team of professional, well-known racers and actual racecars with tire engineers that analyzed their physics, much like what Forza 4's devs did. I doubt GT5's devs ever did that considering it's mostly computer physics.

  • @TheWestSideBboy And yet, I doubt you've even played Forza 4 less even used a steering wheel on it. I have. It's completely different unlike you've said. GT5 might be different due to the fact that most racing sims feel different in terms of using a wheel as opposed to using a controller.

Then again, what do you know? You don't even know that Turn 10, Forza's devs, used real tire physics from Pirelli's research team to analyse real car physics, since you claim "it's all the same."

  • @halodude510 i tried it. and i only like the customizing. but for that i have midnight club. i've played it and believe me, i didn't like it. i cried myself to sleep being happy i don't have a xbox

  • @lifethelifetoday GT5 and FM4 aren't exactly games for Arcade. If you want something like that, go with Need for Speed or something.

  • @ArcanineKing wtf are you talking about Forza and Need For Speed are indeed arcade so?

  • @lifethelifetoday GT5 and Forza ARE Arcade when you choose them to (Changing settings to non-simulation and difficulty.), but GT5 has more Arcadey feeling to it than FM4, sadly. NFS Shift 2 is the same, they used Simulator equipment to create the car mechanics and physics but, then again, you CAN change the settings to Arcade.

They aren't Arcade, they CAN be Arcade. :)

  • @ArcanineKing Forza is the most arcade of the 3, one of the worst games ive ever played. GT5 is the biggest sim of them all, and there are assists, not a arcade function. Forza's cars are faker then your messed up opinion. Got round a hairpin in Forza without braking. Hit a car and a barrier and got ugly damage. Rewinded the race and got round the track with just a few times braking. If that isn't arcade.

  • @lifethelifetoday You're either trolling or plain stupid.

If you think that's how car physics work, you've clearly no idea how a car works in real life then. GT5 plays just like GT3, hard to drive because everything is written in computer physics taken from universities or car research centers, which is a cheaper alternative including recycling everything from GT3 and 4 into GT5. Not even the sounds are as close to the original cars as possible.

  • @lifethelifetoday So if you think "FM4" has the worst simulation of all games you've played, clearly because you're a GT fanboy, then I'm glad to tell you that you're calling real life fake and unrealistic. :|

Forza's dev team, Turn 10, used pretty much real time tire and car physics by Pirelli research team and professional racers, including actual cars with their corresponding car sounds and tire sounds. Same for NFS Shift 2's dev team, using same thing but more wider range of racers and cars

  • @halodude510 lolol those guys are clearly 360 biased as in they like their 360 better and also who cares...their not actual racing fans as the guy admitted. If your trying to say Forza is more popular than GT than LMAO.

  • @normalguyhere Im not biased i had a ps3 it was ok i dont hate it i loved the graphics but the online expericence was bad i bought gt5 it felt really horrible to me so i went back to my halo and forza

  • what is the option in endurance races that says suspend?

  • @rybird101 It will save your progress and shut off the game

  • 0:15 x-ray cars going through each other! it happens a lot, not only with AI inside the pits but even during races!!!

  • that always happens on a wet lap of monza on the dream car race, the AI fuck up and use dry tyres :L

  • forza sucks, gt5 ftw

  • forza2.3.4 does have pit stops and FM and GT are both top games

  • lol

  • @schlep18 No chance

  • your a super GT race car, going up against a XJR-9.

What chances do you have of winning

  • @schlep18 AI drives like old women in the rain so I'd say he has a pretty damn good chance.

  • @schlep18 In GT4, it was easy to beat a 787B with an RX-7 in the rain.

  • @schlep18 It's a Le Mans Prototype 350Z, Super GT cars are low slung to the ground and have 500bhp. This 350Z LM has nearly 600bhp and weighs roughly the same as a Super GT500 car at 1100kg. Just thought I'd point that out, but yeah he still won't win against the XJR-9 :)

  • @schlep18 Because that's not his car.. he's driving the Minolta if you pay attention at the end.

  • lol pit stop after 2 laps look the weather before starting the race and chage tires

  • the 350Z's sound is extremelly realistic

  • it's realistic enough to make a car stop going out of the pit when another one comes, but they still drive through each other lol

  • But all jokes aside, how do i make such a stop

  • i have a xbox and fm3 , i wait for fm4

we have no porsche , AND if we dont have animated pit stop like this , rain and night

    i said

    FUCK FORZA 4

  • @HKusp45auto I'll always be pro-Playstation. But, if it were me waiting on Forza 4, I'd say the Top Gear test track is a must as well. I am I diehard Top Gear fan. I love racing on that track.

  • @VWTDI92 top gear is the best show ever and will never ho off air

  • @VWTDI92 You can play it on gt5 after you finish the top gear academy.

  • @HKusp45auto thats the spirit

  • @HKusp45auto T10 already confirmed Forza 4 will not have night time and rain. Still not sure about Pit stops.

  • @URsuckishATlife wait, forza never had pitstops?

  • @omar53333 It will have pit stops but I meant that it may not have it to this extent (Pit menu, Pit animations) and that it will be like FM3 which is pretty disappointing.

  • PIT CREW: Okay our car is coming. *ZBOOF INTO THE MITSUBISHI* Well that looks like two thousand credits wasted on paint. OTHER GUY IN PITCREW: Who cares! We got way more than two thousand, even the racer has.

  • Did anyone notice the random Jaguar XJR9?

  • @GranTurismoMaster4 i did =D

  • @ikke3wie3anders3 I bet you that that XJR-9 was the only prototype in that race.

  • lap 1/12 ?

  • @mobabur94 it's so realistic it can suddenly in a race.

  • @mobabur94 the AI had to change there tires due to the rain so he went with them

  • now thats what you call real life

  • wich race?

  • Lol awesome realistic but unsafe exit

  • PENALTY PENALTY PENALTY

  • Whats so massive?

  • @fatblackidd141 like 16 cars pitting all at once like REAL LIFE. is massive

  • That's a proper unsafe release

  • Forza sucks its not realistic gt5 physics are realistic if you think it forza has like nfs 1 phisics ohh and its not the fact that the gt5 tires have not grip it the fact that you dont know how to drive!!!!

  • Oh and btw, Forza will be better... When they revamp their physics, include night/day transitions, weather, headlights on all cars, wipers on all cars, premium car level detail, F1 cars, rally cars/tracks, a Nurburgring that actually looks real, make race tires have a thing called GRIP, make the cars drive like they really do, focus on the game rather than Kinect features and do not forget the pit crew... Doesn't seem likely in the future though, get back to me on that.

  • @Ah1692 Exactly my point. That's the problem I have with Forza. It's a fun game but it misses the most important element aspects of racing. I would think instead of Forza 3 being released it should have been released this year to make a better competition. Forza 3 would be a whole another level instead of releasing bits and pieces every 2 years.

  • @whatnow1204 Yes it disappoints me, they have the capability of having the greatest racer of all time, most customization and all of this, but they lack graphics and detail of what racing is. Honestly if you watch Forza 3 gameplay then GT5, GT5 has a real feel to it. Forza feels slow and has no sense of speed. Until they do as good as Forza 1 it will never be good. I was in love with Forza 1...

  • If Forza 4 lacks a pit crew, that will be very sad... I will be highly disappointed if they don't. The pit crew makes the game more realistic, they also need to work on their physics a bit. Maybe they should try revamping the game for 5 years instead of pumping one out every 2 years for money with slight changes. That's just how I feel.

  • @Ah1692 Yeah, I agree. It should have pit crew with a bit more tactical pit strategies. I wouldn't worry too much about physics since they seem to have focused a lot on that. A lot of people that played it at E3 including SRT said it has the best physics for a console.

The reason why Forza only needs 2 years is because it has more than double the employees of PD, hence why it took PD 5 years to make GT5 and had limited improvement.

  • @URsuckishATlife You have your facts incorrect, not trying to prove you wrong here, just saying... PD has 150 employees, it took so long because the director Kazunori is a perfectionist. He made sure the physics were done right with dynamic temperature and pressures changing with everything. He made sure the Premiums looked gorgeous and all of these details. I do not believe Forza 4 will have better physics unless they revamp their engine, and it takes a while... Example: GT5

  • @Ah1692 I guess that's part of it, but there is only so much 150 people can do. Give both developers the same amount of time and I think it's pretty obvious who will do the most, regardless of the fact Kaz is a perfectionist.

Got nothing on that second part since it's your opinion.

  • @URsuckishATlife The second part wasn't opinion, it's fact... They need to revamp their engine to make things better, which is why GT5 took so long. Both developers do have the same amount of time, but one decides to pump one out every two years with a few more tracks and up the painting vinyls number a tad for full price. Not to mention a car pack each month for 5 bucks including 10 cars. So if you pay for 12 packs, you've paid for the game again. It's obvious who has done the most...

  • @Ah1692 "I do not believe...." says it all. If you think it's fact then sure.

Both developers having the same amount of time doesn't matter, it's how much they actually took. One took 5+ years, the other is taking 2. What you make out of the rest is up to you.

  • @URsuckishATlife I do not believe is merely stating a question in its own, if a company is pumping games out every two years, it's obvious they don't care and they just want money. It doesn't surprise me either, another money hungry company. Oh wait I just remembered, they're ran by Microsoft. Besides Bungie Studios every other company seems to be in it for the money when ran by Microsoft. Sad thing is, flames don't even spit out of cars in Forza, GT2 did that. Must be too hard for them to make.

  • @Ah1692 Meh, everyone does it for the money but if that's how you feel then do something about it.

  • @URsuckishATlife There's certain degrees of why you want the money and what you want it for and/or if you're consumed in it. I am not going to do anything about it because I'm happy with GT5 so I'm fine. I'm going to rent Forza 4 and if nothing major has changed I won't touch the series anymore.

  • @Ah1692 No one is forcing you to buy it.

  • @URsuckishATlife Never said anybody was, when they false advertise it makes you want to try it. Oh well, and I know exactly, it's why I'm renting the next one.

  • @Ah1692 No one is forcing you to like it.

  • @URsuckishATlife I never said anything resulting in them force me to like it... You're concluding with off topic remarks.

  • @Ah1692 You could've answered like before yet didn't. I was talking in a general manner, you were being specific in order to escape the question (statement).....or something like that. But what do I know, you'll probably just deny it and say something else.

My remark isn't so off topic. You can't or shouldn't buy something if you don't like it, and it's pointless to rent it if you don't like it in the first place.

Maybe you just don't wanna share your opinion for it. Understandable.

  • @URsuckishATlife Um, sitting on the internet and telling people who they are and how they act shouldn't be a thing to do. I never said I didn't like it, so nice assumption. I loved Forza 1 and haven't seen changes so it's disappointing seeing such a superb series with so much potential but the company lacks. Never once did I say the game sucks, it lacks.

  • @Ah1692 You're right it shouldn't. But that doesn't mean they can't.

Thank you for clearing things up.

"Lacking" in what exactly? I know it lacks in many aspects but needles to say, every game lacks something. Everyone has their own expectations to a certain game.

You can't seem to differentiate "facts" from "opinions".

Some advice, you should give up on Forza, it's not gonna change simply because you feel it should. From what I can tell, GT is more of your kind of game.

  • @URsuckishATlife Well let's see, when it came out it was groundbreaking, damage, vinyl editor and cars that are nice, next game same thing, next game again same thing. They are shipping a slightly adjusted game each time. Can't differentiate fact from opinion? All of my arguing points were facts. I know GT is my type of game, I can use my critique to figure that out. I was simply using my freedom to express my opinion anywhere I please. It's my first right and I'm proud to use it.

  • @Ah1692 If that is how you feel.

  • @Ah1692 You're right man. It's always good to analyze games to probably know what to expect. One thing about GT5 they did their part when it comes to racing situations like day/night, weather simulation, working wipers, auto generated rally tracks etc. These are one of your basic important elements to become a "simulator". That's something major that Forza lacks of. IMO good criticism makes a good game. If many Forza fans criticize T10 for any lack of these, then we'll see a difference.

  • @whatnow1204 I have heard there will be a slight time transition from dawn to dusk on one track but that's it. Forza has so much potential they just won't take their time with it and it's disappointing.

  • @Ah1692 There were some old photos of T10 back in 2009 when FM3 was in development that showed weather with working windshield wipers. It may be in FM4 or not. But it's just a speculation.

  • @whatnow1204 Wow really? I'll have to try and find those. I heard they were working on Forza 4 behind the scenes of making Forza 3 and Forza 3 was a test to see what they could do but if there's weather that's cool but hope for day/night transitions too with different forms of racing, WRC, F1 and stuff. Not just drift, drag and regular circuit. They have so much potential.

  • @Ah1692 T10 said they used parelli tires to capture different performance data with a variety of conditions. This can also hint weather in FM4. Yea I agree; they should start licensing with other forms of racing too not just with the same thing all the time. But why would Forza 3 be a test just to see what they can do? Perhaps it should have been more like a beta than a full game if they call their product a test in my POV. Ya they have so much potential with the amount of workers to achieve

  • @Ah1692 with different goals with different elements of racing. But I feel the same way as you do about lacks of feature with FM3. All we have to do is just wait and see what FM4 brings to the table.

  • @whatnow1204 Yeah that's why I'm renting it. FM4 looks very good but only in the pre-rendered cutscenes you see. When they drive its slightly overhauled from FM3 not better than GT5 to me. If Forza 4 lacks that 60 will be going to GT6 for me.

  • @Ah1692 I'm still undecided there's battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, UC3 this year. I pre ordered those already. But I'm not really that excited with FM4. The pre-rendered cut scenes are actually gameplay. T10 uses a rare technology with Xbox's 360's powerful GPU I think it's called mega meshes it's only in the auto vista feature. Many fans thinks the racing gameplay is going to look like the auto vista. But they're wrong. I might be renting it too. I'm going to buy GT6 regardless lol.

  • @whatnow1204 In shooter, I'm going for MW3, another game people are being fooled is BF3, the footage shown lately has been PC, anyone knowing about games knows PCs will look better. As for Forza 4's pre-rendered stuff, I know it's the game. The PS3 could look like that, they also use image-based lighting on FM4. The PS3 can do it and more cause it's got the 7 SPUs as a kinda back up RAM, another reason why they can have day/night transitions and rain with 16 cars and their graphics to run.

  • @Ah1692 You really know a lot about the console systems more than i do lol. Battlefield 3 at the E3 uses the GTX 580 card which I'll be getting this year for BF3 can't wait! Some users says that FM4 physics at the E3 are barely minimal improvements from the previous engines which isn't really a big of a deal. You're right; that means their engine has to be revamped to have a proper physics engine. It just shows that Forza fans doesn't criticize T10 like they should. Highly disappointed :(

  • Gerry. So you don't know what is a shooter game........

  • it happens in a series race. if the race before they used racing tyres the next race they will still be using them. so they always pit on the first lap to change them. lame really because straight away you have a massive lead

  • this game fail at 0:15 why that car hit nissan

  • whenever i go to pit stop it doesnt do anything

  • ... how the fuck has peopel managed to get the militry involved with a video of gt5... is the war between gt5 and forza that bad? :|... either way, GT5 all the way!

  • Forza needs this.

  • @URsuckishATlife lol in forza dreams dude GT5 is way better

  • @gerry7man555 I know, I have both but it seems Forza 4 is gonna be better.

  • @URsuckishATlife look there is a reason why GT sells more! forza sold 950,000 copies in a week GT5 sold like 2,000,000 copies in a day! for forza 4 it will be the same! its like comparing BF to COD!

  • @gerry7man555 Wait? Are you saying CoD is better than BF?

    If yes, then you're crazy.

If not, then that statement completely contradicts your first one.

Either way, you're not exactly right.

  • @URsuckishATlife yeah of course COD dominates all shooters dude

  • @gerry7man555 ......I have lost hope in humanity.

  • gt5 on psvita. now that would be freakin AMAZING.

  • @SPECTRE9200 don't know if it would be sooo amazing. no racing wheel support :/

  • @SPECTRE9200 hell yeah
