Well I have the MS1000-H1, and I'm using it with all other silent fans like the Noctua NF-P12 and SilenX 120mm fans with 7v adapters. When you turn the 92mm fan that comes with the Zalman MS1000-h1 to low, you can barely hear it. There is still a tiny noise but once you close the case you cannot hear that. With high settings, you can hear the fan after the case is closed, on low, you can't.
well, that's good to know. I love the 6 hotswap bays in the HS2. Perfect for a home server build. I would probably add a quiet intake fan at the bottom and block off the empty fan slot at the top to give it a bit more of a +ve air pressure.

how quiet is it when it is set to low? can you still hear the noise when the fan is inside the case?
