I have been living by that principle since I was 19, woke up after a VERY happy night out, with the mother of all hangovers - and realizing I had spent waay to much the night before.
Too many people have been spending too much money they didnt have for far to long.
(Oh - and btw - it is actually fun, did it once, to buy a car, open the jan sport backpack and take out 40 kilos in cash).

use your local banks and credit union. i am using Orange Country Teacher Federation Credit Union and very happy with the service. i just increase my credit line from 1 thousand to 8 thousand yesterday. my interest rate says the same at 10 percent since i first got it 6 years ago.
I don't want to hear credit card companies with their bull crap traps.
You have to learn how to negotiate with them.
