This must have been the first Airwolf 2, I recall it having a laser weapon. That was the big deal the Original Airwolf couldn't take a hit from the laser, but to make the AW2 able to carry the laser it had to forgo some armor and had no missiles.

Airwolf 2 was one episode early in Season 3, the original took #2 out,. Season 4 shot in Canada with an all new cast is sometime called Airwolf 2 in England. That season may finally may be coming on the DVD next year according tvshowsondvd I have the British copy of Seasons 1 to 3 in a box set and an unofficial of Season 4 that I got from a gal who I bought other stuff from on ioffer
