The sad part about armor with such high numbers is that it's pointless. Even though it shows armor points like in Morrowind, it still uses Oblivion's system of topping out at a certain damage resistance, roughly 85% or so. I think it occurs around armor value 576.

I have dual Ebony Swords that do plenty over 200 damage each. I have them upgraded past legendary using potions, and have all my armor and jewelry enchanted with 40% one-handed damage and 40% archery damage each. I play on Master so it still takes a few hits to kill many enemies.

you can have over 200 damage.take a few clothes or random armor.enchant them with fortify smithing enchantment when you have 100 enchanting and all its relevant perks.also equip ring and necklace for fortify smithing.drink a draught of blacksmithing and your actual smithing skill is way beyond 100.

@JordanTMSDF Yeah, just keep upgrading it like you did before. Only you have to be good enough at smithing (both in skill level and the correct perks for different types of weapons/armor), and it will cost one steel (or corresponding) ingot every time you upgrade.

Thats cool my ebony bow does 252 damage per hit with iron arrows. and its not broken its just ridiculous then i put on all my armor which is all enchated to make archery at least 50% better and i have a full set so my armor rating is 850 and my archery is improved 250%. so try an kill me with a sword cause it wont happen if i hit you. oh and btw its double enchanted with fire damage and ice damage. its called the Bow of the Molten Glacier

@sam18413 stats differ based on how much points are in different skills.Probably maxed one hand weapons.And he also maxed out those attributes, but I think the real difference was when he enchanted his all his armor with improve blacksmithing enchantment, so that definitely made all the differences.Like I recall the ring he mentioned, (based on the ring I got, maybe different for him), 12% improving black smiting, times 4 (applying to the armor, That about 48% increase. Makes all the difference.

You get all Fortify Alchemy enchants for your armor, then you make a Fortify Enchanting potion, enchant better alchemy gear with the potion buff on and keep doing that until you reach the cap I think it's 27 for alchemy and 32 for enchant. Then make a smithing potion and make fortify smithing armor then chug that potion and make yourself a sick new set of armor

My Daedric mace does 125 dmg plus 15 shock damage, but since I'm an orc I can use Berserker Rage once a day and it doubles my damage to 250 per hit and I only take half damage from enemies. It's a pretty awesome power.
