  • I like the vid, it´s brief and concrete. Now, I like to design or sketch in Sketchup but need to export the 2D to autocad because that´s what my client wants. How do you do that? (or can you refer me to another vid?) Thanks

  • So you're using CAD 2004. You can ignore my questions then.

  • What is the CAD version are you using in this vid? I can't import my CAD 2004 file version to my sketchup. The reason why is the cad file doesn't appear as an option for importing.

  • @TaiCheeze It doesn't appear as an option for importing because in the standard sketch up it wont allow you to import .dwg files (AutoCAD) you have to download the sketch up pro version which allows the extension to import .dwg files into sketch up. You've properly figured this out a year down the line but yeh.

  • I use 2004. But DWG is the standard Autocad extension. I would be amazed if it is not available in 2007. Are you sure you are using Autocad and not another CAD Package?

  • What version is this? 07 has no dwg
