Wow, that sure brought back some nice memories! My grandparents had a 1957 Cadillac SDV and they pulled a 1955 Airstream with it. I still have their vintage chrome trailer hitch. Seeing this video is like seeing them pulling up to our house when I was 5 years old again.

2 things I noticed #1. The towing mirrors on the Caddy Wow! and #2. the A/C units one above and one in the rear window of the Airstream. Did they have A/C in those Air streams back then?

wow...it is so close to my memories of my 1959 Cadillac (which was primered for paint so it was the same grey as the trailer) towing a 1954 Airstream (22 footer). Thanks! I had some fun times with those metal monsters!

Cars like this were ideal for towing heavy trailers, like Airstreams. This Cadillac, with it's gusseted X frame, and V-8 engine, pulls with comfort and style. Even as late as 1976 Cadillacs and Airstreams were a common combination.
