  • I love you.

  • BTW the diagram showing light bending toward the white hole makes no sense. You said the white hole pushes things away, not pulls things in. Also if it is like the opposite of the black hole then light would speed up, not slow down, as you neared the white hole. Just sayin'.

  • @SandBarAndYou actually if you really wana get technical, the light near a white hole blueshifts infinitely just as the same in a black hole, light redshifts infinitely

  • @KyuubiNaruto1337XD BTW, in my comment, where I said "light" I meant to say "time."

  • The white hole idea is retarded, no pun intended. If time was changing rates so that the Earth would today appear younger than the universe, then okay the Earth would be young, but NOT THE FREAKIN' UNIVERSE! Back to square one.

  • Ummm you need to go back over what Humphrey says. But, if you think creationists have a light travel problem, and your a proponent of the big bang, I'm very surprised you would bring up the light travel problem. This naturally points us to the fact that you have a much bigger problem with light travel. Maybe you should look up the Horizon problem, before sticking your foot in your mouth.

  • @AndyG792 Ah, the classic "if you haven't researched every thing in the world that is researchable, then you have no business talking and I'm going to berate you" argument. Just point out the flaws without being flippant, it's easy. No one has time to research everything.

  • God is omnipotent.

    God cannot lie.

    Wait, what?

  • I have a question.... before the Bible was written by God's specially chosen men (on paper)... did everyone basically live their lives not knowing of God? I mean fossil records show that the first anatomically modern humans (or animals that began to possess our physical build) existed about two hundred thousand years ago. What did people do for tens of thousands of years before Christ came? Did they live only to go to Hell? Was God "busy" with something? Does it matter?

  • This subject is far more complicated and there are dozens of other variables.

We also know that light is effected by gravity. Wouldn't the gravitational forces of other planets in our galaxy interfere with the lights path, as we've observed in solar eclipses.

Regardless, this is anti-theist propaganda parroted by people who don't know how science works. Though they preach about how self correcting science is they still put all their faith in the current model as long as it is anti-theist.

  • @knowwaie

First of all, it's not a matter of 'speed' but of 'frequency'. Speed of light = wavelength x frequency.

Then what are colors in comparison to light? Different speeds? NO, different wavelengths/frequencies/energies (e=hf).

The "speed of light" couldn't possibly be "constant" based on even basic principles. Which principles exactly?

  • @WaltonSauce Do not even bother, that guy is so horsefucking ignorantarded that he can't even understand the most basic principles of things-fall-downward-not-upward (aka dog-raping gravity), much less the ass-munching doppler effect.

  • @knowwaie You are either lying or fundamentally ignorant and retarded.

  • Unfortunately for you i'm right. You're just one of the gullible peasants who has no discernment or thinking capability.

  • @knowwaie Here, have five dollars. Go buy yourself a fucking brain.

I get that some people are born without a brain, but staying in this undignified state is just ridiculous.

  • I'm sure a brain like yours would be worth only five dollars. You're a moron.

  • @knowwaie You cannot evaluate the worth of my brain. You would need a brain to evaluate anything. But do you have one? No.

  • Your balls are even less impressive than your brain, i'm sure.

  • @knowwaie What am I even doing? Trying to converse with a brainless one is pointless.

  • @ParaSpite

I realise that now, he asks for an answer. gets one and ignores it.

I'm still waiting for him to crap on the chess board.

  • The "speed of light" couldn't possibly be "constant" based on even basic principles.

First of all, it's not a matter of 'speed' but of 'frequency'. We already know that colors are different frequencies of light and white light contains all colors. Then what are colors in comparison to light? Different speeds? We can at least conclude that whatever the phenomena we're still dealing with different types of light, since we know objects themselves don't have color but the light itself is color.

  • I love this video and how you mention the fact that the Bible has been changed and edited over time. I think the key to shedding light on the Truth is not by explaining science to the "believers" (they don't get it) but by explaining the origins of the Bible itself. Check out 'Who wrote the Bible' by Richard Friedman and 'Who Wrote the New Testament?: The Making of the Christian Myth' by Burton Mack. Since the Bible is NOT the "Word of God" then any argument the YEC have is immediately busted :)

  • There is no Holy Book from any religion which claims any specific age for the universe. There have been individual people who attempt to set a date for "creation," and, clearly the reason they go through so many mathmatical gymnastics is because that specific information does not exist in "their book." Since there is not relationship between a "young" or "old" earth and the "word of god" printed in holy books, I think it's time to shut the fuck up about it.

  • Part iV is missing :(

  • Light bends when it goes through water droplets, or vapors, or ice.... think about it... Do not be ignorant. :/

  • Comment removed

  • After watching many of your videos i have come to the conclusion that most of the things you claim are opinions, however, I am an evangelical christian believer, that agrees with finally something that you have said. It says the earth was created in 7 days...and yet we dont know how long 7 days are in the biblical age. Could be millions of years in between each 'day' So I agree with you when you say that YEC is false. so YAY... we agree on something lol.

  • @Razor11234 So you believe that the words in the bible are open to be interpreted in any manner by anyone with a margin of error of at least 1,000,000 X?

  • YEC... Raped.

I really liked the ending to this.

  • BRAVO!

  • :o I thought this would be a good rebuttal, but it fails in the case that the WH dissipated! you actually assert that the rest of the universe would "look" oloder

That's why this is the shortest rebuttal.

    think about it!

but don't get me wrong, I think that plasma cosmology is closer to truth, it elliminates the necessity of inflation, dark flow/matter/energy/holes/forces and agrees with Chandra Xray telescope

  • How many times do you need to be told.... stop playing the most sublime music while trying to make people think!

I'm all... ''The Young Earth is wrong because... ooh... Deee dum daaaaa! deeeee duum daaa! Didi diddle-diddle-deeee. Say what? Time does what? Dadadadadadadada deee wheee didididi pee pee peeeee Radiometric what? Weeee deeee play it baby etc...

I love your taste in Music! :-) A wild guess... Simon Rattle making love to Beethoven? (probably not) PLEASE CITE YOUR MUSIC SOUCES!

  • This is about as dificult arguing with a Jehovah's witness. They swear on every bible they got, either the originals or their rewritten interpretations, that the earth is ONLY 6000 years old. They accept to 'some' extent that the universe is older than the earth. Since it is stated in the bible that there was first a void and darkness existing before the earth. But it would be far easier arguing with a wall, then a JW. They are just that ignorant. Some people just flat out refuse hard evidence.

  • @plord28

Arguing with most Christians is hard because they haven't read...

    1. A science book (little less on every subject mentioned in the video)

    2. The bible (most Christians know little to nothing of what is ACTUALLY in their holy book)

It is also hard arguing with Christians because they commit numerous logical fallacies and violations of reason because they haven't...

    1. Studied philosophy and logic in an institution of higher learning

    2. Avoided contact with people who have done #1

  • THIS IS IMPORTANT: i really encourage people to not judge followers of jesus based on the ignorance of a few followers of jesus. people who start to follow the belief of God start off thinking they know everything, it just happens in order for them to learn. ive been though it i find this video to be very informative and helpful. but i use to think otherwise, im just sayin. christians can start off ignorant i learned this first hand. thanks for the vid. God Bless

  • 5:40 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ITS A LIE !!!!

  • All that evidence starring them in the face and they still deny it, YEC's are the most deluded people on the face of the planet wilfully ignoring fact, That's stupid on purpose.

  • Simply the title of this video gives indication of the cretinism contained therein.

"Why Young Earth Creationists (Sir Isaac Newton) Must Deny Gravity"

  • @Chuichupachichi really?..do you think that if Newton had the information that is available today in his hands, he'd still be a YEC?

  • a piece of art, that's what this is.

if anyone have any objection, please speak now: so everyone can laugh at you!

(but don't worry, we'll learn our lesson when we die)

    (or so you claim)

  • Maybe God created the light as close as was necessary while creating a star/galaxy/nebula or whatever?

  • cont'

And to believe in the bible does not cause me to deny all science. I like applied science, not evolutionary science which is little more then story telling that occationally uses a scientific fact when convenient. But applied science was developed by blible believing men and women to study the creation of God. Further most of the advances in science were done by bible believing scientists.

  • I am a YEC, and yet I have come to this believe by the study of the evidence that we see around us. It is written that "God has stretched out the heavens". So, God can create a Universe that is very large. It is also clear by calculating the dates of events in the past (all that begetting in the bible) that the earth is less then 10K years old. So, just cdk007 does not know the method God used, does not mean that it did not happen as described in the bible.

  • @elinikk

the problem with this is that the bible is rubbish written by goat herders. There is no god.

  • @assym2006 Based on your opinion, of course! But the Bible is the veritable truth to anyone who has ever examined it. When used to discover hidden archeaological facts, the Bible has always been found to be correct.

BTW, The Bible was not written just by goat herders, but Kings, Priests, High officals of various kingdoms, fisherman, tax collectors, Judges. Basically a section of all walks of life. Over 40 writters over a period of 1500 yrs, and yet they all reveal a unified story.

  • @elinikk

I have studied the bible. I had no choice it was a compulsory subject at school for 5 years. The kings Priests, High officials of those times believes the world was flat and the sun revolved around the earth. The current bible presents a unified story because it was collated to do so. From the 1st century on the holy books and paper that did not conform to the cannon were left out. As such the bible cannot n as proof that the story is true as it has been tampered with.

  • @assym2006 The Kings Priests obviously did not study the Bible.

No books were left out of the Cannon. The Cannon has clear rules as to what was to be included in the Bible. The OT was not touched, this is just concerning the NT and most of the books were considered good except a few. The sheppard of Hermas, First Clement, and even James. There are about 2000 books that were known fiction, heresies or incomplete and not even considered. All of which added nothing to the Bible.

  • @elinikk

By "heresies" you mean does not agree with the churches point of view at the time. What should and should not be in the Bible was debated by men and decided by men for political reason. None of it was the work of "god".

The bible like every other holy book is a joke in this day and age and is not worth the paper its written on.

  • @assym2006 By heresy, I mean heresy. Documentation written purposefully to lead people away. Works of fiction written by unstable men. Those books were contrary to the Canonized books of the bible. But, see for yourself, you can find them on the internet. Basically they are worthess drivel, but go ahead and read them.

You are obviously confused with some other book. For the Bible has been the most printed book every year, the best selling book since the invention of the printing press!

  • @elinikk BTW, the printing press was invented to print the Bible! Gutenburg!

  • @elinikk actually stolen from the chinese

  • @elinikk sadly

  • @jileel truthfully! Thank God that he gave man wisdom and knowledge and understanding to build and create.

  • No matter how hard man tries.. he can never understand GOD or The Universe.. both wil remain a mystrey til the end

  • @aatefmagic Someone's watched some zeitgeist?

  • @Mduenisch I was being sarcastic.

  • @mvalviar Sorry was afraid of that, but didn't have the room to add that with the comment. The comment really just served to answer anyone who would've said what you did. No hard feelings.

  • @aatefmagic Actually presumptions, assumptions don't use evidence (or at least i'm under the impression of that) and Evolution and a God-created universe (Without Young Earth Creationism or any other religion's text as law over it) aren't mutually exclusive. If a god of some sort created the universe, even though its unlikely, it could've made the currently accepted theory of evolution a reality along with it, but no, christians choose the idiotic alternative.

  • God didn't plant the photons God cannot lie. Satan planted those to deceive us and test our faith. LOL.

  • @mvalviar That doesn't make sense. Satan isn't God, and isn't all powerful. What doesn't make sense is how people can act like he does. Satan isn't a bad guy because he isn't real. Even if he was, he can't be in hell. Why? because why would an all good god, not forgive him of his sins? Think about it, if Satan had learned his lesson, and realized that he was sorry, and his actions weren't worth it, he'd repent and everything would be fine and dandy. No more sand in his buns. (spongebob)

  • I liked the series and found the Doppler and Red-shift sound physics. You used the 2nd law of thermodynamics several times through the series to make a point. It is my understanding that this law is only relevant in a closed system.

Anyone who believes the universe to be young is not worth the time it takes to explain. The earth itself has been proven to be 4.5 billion years old using over 50 independent radiometric testing methods, all with corroborating data, none in contrast.

  • i in NO WAY believe the young earth idea. its fucking insane. HOWEVER the logic behind the whitehole idea is legit. time is distorted around a black hole. infact it has been hypothised you could never actually witness something pass through the event horizon in a black hole.

  • @zeroflat24 Shouldn't something with a negative gravitational influence SPEED up time near its event horizon? Unfortunately, I'm only an amateur physicist. Either way, it wouldn't matter WHAT rate time was moving at, since anything leaving the white hole would be torn down to subatomic particles. So...still not legit logic. Just sayin.

  • @OriginalTharios you would think things would speed up, but most scientists agree it affects time so much it slows things down (depending on your perspective)

  • How funny... in a way, they must negate God to support creationism... o.o

  • Why are there so many porn spam ads in the comments on this video?

  • @MarshmallowRadiation Christian answer #1 "God did it."

  • **Stands up and applauds**

  • It's hard to believe that > 287 people would 'dislike' this.

  • can god make a rock so heavy he cannot lift it

  • @british123able of course he can!!! he can also make a book so stupid that even he cannot belive it(Bible). how dare you doubt his omnipotency. and God can do anything including logical fallacies, because logic and reason is or pussies and nerds. real men use brute force and NEVER use their brain. and god is a real man

  • @Frikgeek I WAS NOT DOUBTING HIS OMNIPOTENCY, I WAS QUESTIONING HIS ABILITIES, OMNIPOTENT MEANS HE IS EVERYWHERE AT ONCE. I WAS NOT ASKING IF GOD WAS THERE...

  • @british123able LOL FAIL!!

    1. i was being sarcastic

    2. google omnipotence (it means the ability to do everything)

    3. google omnipresence (being everywhere)

    4. do your latin homework

  • @Frikgeek I HAVE BEEN DRINKING BEER SINCE 12 AFTERNOON, ITS NOW 11:10 GIVE ME A BREAK YOUNG EINSTEIN

  • LOL yes some no namer disproves relativity theory.. FAIL!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • for every lie in that book, 1 human will die of aids this year.

  • White hole cosmology has literally got to be one of the DUMBEST things I've ever had the misfortune of hearing.

  • I'm scientifically minded, so whenever I find something that supports my ideas, I always look for problems of any kind that would make it wrong, and after watching those 5 videos, I found no problems at all. Anyone who could actually sit and watch those videos and still claim to be a Christian is an idiot, plain and simple.

  • This is so obvious...this moron "chooses" to believe what he says as real.He has choosen to believe in his own religion which he CANNOT PROVE!!!! So he finds it easier to try to disprove creation than prove his side, typical.....

    this video.....FAILS

  • @tweesdy did it hurt?

  • @tweesdy Atheism is not the matter at hand. The title of the video series is "Why Young Earth Creationists Must Deny Gravity," not "Why I'm Right." I can say the same for creationists. You always try to show us why we're "wrong" yet you can find nothing that says you're right. We do have evidence of evolution, which is enough to prove that you're wrong, and we aren't going to readily prove ourselves wrong, so get working on that or quit flapping your gums.

  • @tweesdy No, he chooses to use his brain and actually follow where the evidence leads, not blindly believe in some bronze age mythology that says a magic sky man did everything.

Science *is not* a religion. Religions require faith without evidence. Science on the other hand requires evidence without faith.

  • Lets assume that planets are living beings since they were born and then they die and that the planets known so far are very ill except Earth. It is like in one city of 500 people where only one person is healthy who have a cure inside the pocket. If that is true ill planets need pills or shuts vaccines to produce immunity to a disease and to heal them which is in this case too hot or too low temperature and other diseases.

  • 1 First God made heaven & earth

  • New "theory" by YECs: all the evidence was planted by Satan.

Counter:wouldn't that make Satan more powerful than God? And plus, that means Satan made 99.99999...% of the universe. Does that mean Satan is the creator?

  • Love the Jupiter symphony.

  • It's amazing how much effort the young earth creationists put into trying to reconcile an ancient text, that they consider authoritative, but which was written when the earth was thought to be flat, with the amazing complexity of modern scientific explanations and their demonstrated accuracy.

Belief in any god is a matter of faith. Science is the pursuit of truth.

There's no reason, and no way, to reconcile the two.

  • here is a list of stuff I take as flood and creation evidence grand canyon stars moving backwards scars on the bottom of the ocean smeared dirt and rock on the sides of mountains fish skeletons on the peak of mount Everest hieroglyphics of aircraft's hieroglyphics of people killing dinosaurs the fact that scientists have proved that eggs need a chicken to hatch hieroglyphics of people using ark welders human footprints in dinosaur footprints Niagara falls and much more
  • wow wow wow have you actually met a creationist that said science is evil. because the bible says the opposite. I mean in the story of Naaman he was instructed to did in the river. now he was specifically instructed to dip in the river,to induce vascular constriction and back to normal. there is plenty of strong evidence that PROVES god is scientifically accurate. you see if god IS real than GOD IS REAL. if we really evolved here then there should be no evidence of creation,at all

  • Actually, it's not fair to say you take too long to get to your point. I guess that's the nature of responding to videos on YouTube. It would just be easier if it was all typed out so I could read at my leisure and go back and find things that I missed.

  • ...no reason to accept it as true unless you're an atheist and you want a reason not to believe in God. I'm looking at you, Stephen Hawking.

  • ...a matter of six days. He could have done it quicker, but He used the six days as a pattern for the Jews' workweek (Exodus 20:11). That's why we can see light from far away galaxies and we have gravity and other things. God created it to work that way. If you can accept the God of the Bible exists, then unless you want to interpret the Bible using "science" rather than using the Holy Spirit, that's your pitfall. The reality of it is Evolution is not provable nor observable, so there's...

  • @ChristianMusician85 Shall we be able to make a planet in one our day? I say yes some day we will.

  • @trnjana I seriously doubt we'll ever have that capability, but what does that have to do with anything?

  • @ChristianMusician85 We need more planets in order to survive as species so we have to have that capability and to work on it as fast as possible so it have to do with everything.

  • @trnjana Actually, we don't. Humanity is not working on creating planets because it's simply beyond us and probably always will be. What's more likely is that we will develop a technique called terraforming where we change an inhospitable planet to be hospitable and support human life. That is much more feasible and that is what humanity is working on (unless Obama decides to scrap all space progress like he scrapped the space shuttle program).

  • @ChristianMusician85 In that case we should work then on the program how to create stars like our Sun or something similar and to put them on certain distance from an inhospitable planets so they can be hospitable.I believe all those solutions are possible with more droids and other techniques.

  • @trnjana I don't see that as ever being possible. We'll never be able to create stars because the energy that they produce is much more than we could ever hope to produce on our own. There's no way we could ever have the energy or the resources to create stars or other planets. It's just wishful thinking. Terraforming is the more likely solution.

  • @ChristianMusician85 Many things used be impossible to create in past times and used to bi sci-fi and now days we can create them in reality.Probably many civilizations failed because of its own creations.I think we made it till today for a reason today the way we are in order to correct their mistakes.Almost everything we needed so far we invented or redone.I believe we can create planets and stars.

  • @trnjana It's not enough to say what was once impossible is now possible, because they're little things compared to creating planets and stars. It will never happen. It's just not possible. Just like Star Trek's transporter technology will never happen because according to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, it is possible to know the position and the momentum of an atom, but not both at the same time. Even Star Trek knew this, so they invented Heisenberg Compensators to get around it.

  • If you accept the God of the Bible, then you must accept a young Earth view of Creationism. For instance, Genesis 1 cannot be taken as anything other than literal. You have to do a huge song and dance to twist it around and make it an allegory. Secondly, God created Adam and Eve as fully functioning adults though they were only a few seconds old. Jesus turned water into fully fermented wine. It's not a stretch to believe that God could create a fully-functioning huge universe in...

  • Truth be told, you take way too long to get to your point. So I'm just going to disagree with a few things. First, even Richard Dawkins himself, one of the leading living atheists, has said that Evolution and Intelligent Design are mutually exclusive. I agree with this. Will you call Dawkins a liar, as well? The problem is that people who disagree with something will often call it a "lie" to make it seem much worse than it really is or to make it easier to refute because their arguments are weak

  • This video has made more sense than anything i've ever seen in my entire life.

  • White hole theory is something I never heard of, but it really pisses me off. First of all, black holes don't "suck" anything in. If something passes its event horizon, it will act just as light bends around any other object. Second of all, wouldn't a white hole have to be the opposite of mass to exist? That would support the argument of antimatter, which is employed in the big bang theory...at the same time, matter can't exist with antimatter, so that's also very stupid.

  • 10/10 great videos with great music. thanks

  • It would have been easier for this religions to say: "God created the Physics and Chemestry laws (like codes in computers) and then set the univers to start (like the big bang), and then he just sit back and watch his universe been created (following his laws) by its own." But no.

Science got them in a checkmate, but they are still playing the game.

I don't say you don't have to believe in God. Believe in him, your free to do it.

  • @MrFreakHeavy agreed.

  • God made the universe that way.

  • @JahJoJah

    God doesn't exist.

  • @MovieMagicMaster

We can deduce that from our logical reasoning, yet it makes sense to any christian who uses that argument. And the thing is, you can't prove god doesn't exist by saying he didn't do something. A theory that is so outlandish that it cannot be proved thinks that it is right.

  • @JahJoJah

Actually, you can prove there is no god. The concept of a an all-powerful creator contradicts itself.

  • stupid

  • Proof's: 8/9/02

Headlines in several newspapers around the world have publicized a paper in Nature by a team of scientists (including the famous physicist Paul Davies) who (according to these reports) claim that ‘light has been slowing down since the creation of the universe’.1

Now two physicists-Dr. Joao Magueijo, a Royal Society research fellow at Imperial College, London, and Dr. Andreas Albrecht, of the University of California at Davis-are proposing has been slowing down ever since.

  • @hayomtov7 look I've very sorry to be the one to tell you but light has not 'slowed' in speed since the beginning of the universe... And even if this magic were true.... what you need there is for the speed of light to start 430 million times faster....

Just read stuff that doesn't get in the way of whatever religious stuff you have going on there. Seriously... pinning you hopes to this research or that. Had it ever dawned on you to educate yourself for YOUR good and not any other purpose.

  • As science advances and kids in schools learn more and more about how their world works...and as technology gets cheaper to the point where people can 'verify' what they are taught the creationists will simply get more and more insanely fundamental.... if you think they are bonkers now...just wait and see!

eventually they will be standing there telling you that you personally don't exist...

That day is about a decade from now!

  • @MumblingMickey

    More hypothetical's into the future...

  • @tannguyen1981 Unfortunately for you Prof. webbs work in distant quasars if proven true would make the universe OLDER not younger! Basicaly his hypothisis is that as the universe ages and objects move further away from one another that time itself slows from the perspective of an observer... that would mean that if you run the universe backward then the smaller it gets the more time would pass from your perspective in the future... making the universe an extra half billion years older...

  • 1- Rates of radio active decay that you are relying on proven falsifiable several decades ago.

    A) Uncertainty in uniformed decay rates -- Radio active traces found in coalified wood collapses geological time from Billions to thousands of yrs.

    B) Excess helium in granite deep in earth proves crustal rocks are young! Zircons in granite @ different depths fill with helium! Lower depth should loose helium faster (higher temp)- opposite is found.

    Abbreviated!

  • Problem: accepted belief as proof for evolutionary time, assume the following two things.

    1) Rate of speed of light has always been the same. Falsifiable! actually slowing down.

    2) Ignore the rate of stretching and expansion of the universe. Ten - 12th power

Taken from a dozen physics text books -- The relationship of looking from the beginning to the present quantified as 1 million million ( multiply x 6 days)

6 million million days / by 365 days =16 bill yrs

    God's perspective - 6 DAYS!

  • @hayomtov7 Except of course we didn't always have a 24 hour day... or indeed a 365 day year... which nicely screws up the figures you are attempting to reverse engineer there to give a correct date!

Plus of course we measure the age of the universe based on contraction speed... which in fact does funny things to your 'day' as the universe gets smaller... sonce time is related to gravity...

Go back to the drawing board.

  • @MumblingMickey These hypothetical "if''s" are just that If's and are not the excepted thought in the scientific community. You are missing the point...this is from our perspective as looking back towards the beginning. You can't have it both ways...in one breath time is a constant...and the next breath speak of a contraction speed-OBJECTS not light - double talk.13.75 and 16 billion are estimates. I pass on the childish insults, I respect your opinions although you have not answered my points.

  • @hayomtov7 light speed is also not slowing down... the speed of light has remained constant during the entire time the universe has existed... TIME from your perspective as an observer looking into the distance...therefore the time to the past past has changed making the universe even older!

The figure is not 16 bil yrs... its 13.75 give or take 200 million fit that into your figures.

Seriously.... read a book and not on math or physics since you've demonstrated that this is not your forte.

  • @hayomtov7 and what about the 7th day? just cos no work making a universe was done doesn't make that day go away...it was still a day!

Its very convenient of you to ignore the actual age of the universe...and the actual quantity of days (stating 6 instead of 7) then coming up with things that if multiplied together will arrive in the vicinity of that figure.

Where was all this 'rather simple' math 300 years ago when science was looking for the answer? why didn't somebody say something then?

  • @MumblingMickey You are missing the point again...1 million million is the number that the scientific community came up quantifying the time in days looking back to the beginning...from our perspective did scientist leave out the 7th day...? 365 days includes the seventh day...52 weeks in a year 7days in a week etc... 6 million million days / by 365 days...again OUR perspective...it is a little perplexing...keep thinking ...you will get it ...please take a shot at my other points! points A & B

  • @hayomtov7 well to start with... never heard about physicists labeling the universe one million million days old... never heard that at all... ever. I don't know where you came up with that... its not even a useful measurement since 'days' on earth have changed over time.

So lets start with that?...I feel doubtful any scientific paper or random comment from anyone in physics would lead to any idea of measuring geological timespans in days... so where did this million million days come from?

  • @hayomtov7 So in short we are currently expending billions to get an answer to the following.

What is the nature of matter? what differentiates a wave particle from a mass particle?

The LHC was specifically built to answer that. Can you save us all further expense by answering that now rather than rushing to some crazy 'after the fact math' when its discovered next year or the year after?

Or will you be back here after that discovery to show where in the bible it was explained all along?

  • @MumblingMickey The scientific community taught the case for "Piltdown Man" as a proven scientific fact. Several years into the hoax, a few scientist falsified Piltdown man. Yet for 40 years this hoax was perpetrated on the public. Knowingly, yet complete silence...the British royal museum was well aware of the hoax and said nothing...hundreds of thousands of students was taught this nonsense because of Pride, blind ambition, fear & entire careers staked on a LIE! This has been a pattern!

  • @hayomtov7 The scientific community thought the sun revolved around the earth too for a lot longer... in fact the scientific community think lots of things... but they think them based on the evidence... The second new evidence comes to light they include it...

Just like you would if waiting over an hour for a train then discovered they had ALL been canceled... that new evidence would tell you to hail a cab into work!

You'd certainly be dumb as a brick if you continued to wait...

  • @hayomtov7 And seriously if you are trying to include things science was originally 'wrong' about then corrected... and I was to respond with things science is right about currently I'd still be typing at Christmas!

If everything science came up with was absolutely right, every time, first time... well that would be evidence of divine intervention!

Seriously pal the technology you have around you was deemed 'science fiction' and 'pseudoscience' ...by scientists... only 50 years ago!

  • @hayomtov7 If its not too late heres my advice to you.

For what is worth, that is....

(I'll consider my opinion to you to be probably worthless anyway....but just as a piece of random information.)

You've seen a decade more of this world than I have, you know where this explosion of information globally is going, It'll lead to what it always led to...

Use it, keep your religion I'm sure it serves you well, but use the information or you'll end up a casualty of it. Lets call that prophecy.

  • @MumblingMickey My point is that one must not be a cool aid drinker when it comes to science. Question Everything! You will be surprised at what you can discover on your own. Yes we are in agreement that science is not omniscient trust me you're preaching to the choir on that one...however, when the scientific community willingly and knowingly perpetrates falsehoods and junk science we must hold them accountable! This is not an isolated incident but a pattern too numerous to list.

    The best 2 U

  • @hayomtov7 I am consistently amazed at what I can come up with on my own. but obviously I base that on the 'most likely' things to be true. I'm amazed but seldom disappointed.

So as I said its the 'information age' and to be honest I'm not sure where your information is coming from. But its not reliable... thats for sure.

The 'scientific community' are now a demographic grouping? Okay, would you please look around the room you're in. The 'scientific community' designed everything in that room.

  • No, it was not God who created light appearing to come from distant galaxies. Who would you expect to be responsible for such light but someone whose name is light-bearer, i.e. Lucifer. See it all makes sense. Checkmate, atheists!

  • @djhalling funny

  • What about the time dilation theory? When you said young earth creationists must deny gravity I thought for sure that you would touch on the one theory that is based on actual scientific evidence and gravity itself. In my opinion gravitational time dilation is the only theory that could possibly explain a 6000 y/o universe though i'm doubtful that it's effects are great enough to account for 2 billion years difference which is why I was hoping you would cover it. Maybe next video?

  • Uhm, seems to me that if the universe was created inside the white hole then God must still be in there. Possibly creating some more stuff.

  • Wonderful series! I loved it!

  • Sometimes I Blame Evolution Fro religion

  • @tannguyen1981 cite the article that disputes the speed of light. Is it from the Discovery Institute or from the deepest recesses of your ass?

  • @tannguyen1981 the only thing science has observed to be constant is the accretion of morons around religious dogmas. We can always rest assured that the fools and th intellectually lazy will disproportionately preach nonsense a.k.a. Religion.

  • There is no reason that the intelligent designer could not have created the earth with age.

  • @ghjurx452 there is no reason why an intelligent human of mature age should accept your ridiculous Creator. To make such a leap of faith would be unforgivably stupid, unreasonable and laughable.

  • @VeritasTruthEmet "your ridiculous Creator?" what exactly is MY ridiculous Creator? id really like to know for my own sake.

I did not claim to know the origin of life i was just saying this video fails to address the possibility that an intelligent designer could have created the universe with age.

  • @ghjurx452 why would such a thing be possible? It is equally likely and probable that the Invisible Pink Unicorn farted the universe into existence 75 years ago and designed everything to look much older. Further, that same Invisible Pink Unicorn could have implanted memories into the minds of everyone older than 75 making them think they were born, when in reality they were just 'created'. Sure, all things are possible if you're a lunatic. But what is most likely to be true, certainly not Jesus

  • @VeritasTruthEmet who said anything about jesus? i dont believe that jesus was the son of god. why are you talking about jesus

  • like I told the God sucking, sister humping, bible thumping, monster truck enthusiastic rednecks all the time, God "invented" the bible to test our faith, if we fell for those bullshit written in the bible, "God" would send us to hell on "judgment day", so really you fucked up heads out there, stop preaching and believing, or u'll go to hell after u die. hahaha

  • I'd love to get this on DVD. This was amazing. And yet those who need to see this most won't. But thanks for giving me more ammo to "pop" their little delusional view.

  • I'm on your side, and I agree the fossils, etc. would have to be lies. I question whether, if the photons were created already on the way to earth, that would mean that the objects that emitted them are not really there, and thus also lies. Why couldn't the rest of the big universe be there, created in position, and with billions of years worth of photons also already in existence? I hate to see a good argument with one exaggerated criticism; that's the one the other side will focus on.

  • You, Sir, deserve a medal for this series!

  • Good point in this vid. I`ll be sure to use that in my e-debates with creationists.
