  • why do the chinese get all the cool stuff?? :(

  • @xtwreckz dont you mean.... Japanese?

  • yeah yeah yeah, frozen coke... neat... now who made this song in the background?

  • @Onurr91 Then why doesn't it freeze until after he closes the bottle again?

  • Why isn't America this cool?????

  • And there's no woooow in this video. Elementary school science lesson would easily make it easy.:)))

  • @Onurr91 you are totally right. I do this trick everytime I forget thw bottle in the freezer for a longer time than intended. The liquid gets a colloidal structure and when you open the bottle at that point and wait for2-3 seconds, it becomes totally frozen. Taking a sip before you close and turn upside down helps you to balance the pressure within the bottle but it's not necessary. When you open the bottle it will start freezing from the surface, until it reaches to a balance with the atmosphe

  • when do u think its comming to canada

  • Should put this in Canada And the u.s. p.s.(Canada is better)

  • Australia is going to do it too.

  • Where can I get this machine?

  • @kebaleet from gay who just spoke in the mumble

  • kinda sad that America don't have any cool shits like they do in Asia. Just look at that vending machine! it have a freaking tv on it lol how fancy

  • We need this in the U.S.!!

  • Asia has all the fancy SHIT!!!!

  • What about Seoul Korea

  • can you order this online?

  • Here from omg facts arent u

  • Glassy water can be heated up to approximately 150 K (−123 °C/−189.4 °F).[3] In the range of temperatures between 231 K (−42 °C/−43.6 °F) and 150 K (−123 °C/−189.4 °F) experiments find only crystal ice.

  • Pure water normally freezes at 273.15 K (0 °C or 32 °F) but it can also be "supercooled" at standard pressure down to its crystal homogeneous nucleation at almost 224.8 K (−48.3 °C/−55 °F).[2] [3] If, however, it is cooled at a rate on the order of 106 K/s, the crystal nucleation can be avoided and water becomes a glass. Its glass transition temperature is much colder and harder to determine, but studies estimate it at about 165 K (−108 °C/−162.4 °F).[4].

  • @anthonywilliams999 that should have been 10^6

  • A liquid below its standard freezing point will crystallize in the presence of a seed crystal or nucleus around which a crystal structure can form. However, lacking any such nucleus, the liquid phase can be maintained all the way down to the temperature at which crystal homogeneous nucleation occurs. The homogeneous nucleation can occur above the glass transition where the system is an amorphous (non-crystalline) solid.

  • thumbs up if you had this in australia

  • How does that work?!

  • I love how everyones like " I wish they had that in my country!" when all you really have to do is leave it in the freezer for 2-3 hours, then take the same steps showed in this video.

  • No way thats is snitscheszetresamous !!

  • My guess that it tastes just like coke slurpee

  • omg they need to bring this to USA

  • this phenomenon has a very simple explanation. google for a pt diagram of h2o. there you can see, that the freeze point of h2o is at 0° with a pressure of 1,013 bar (ambient pressure), but when you increase the pressure, the freezing point of water gets below 0° (anomaly of water). so the coca cola company fills the coke with high pressure and cools it below 0° in their vending machine and as soon as you open the coke it sets up to 1,013 bar and freezes! thumbs up so everyone gets it!

  • @Onurr91 I think you mean as soon as you open the bottle the pressure DECREASES to match ambient pressure and therefore the water freezes due to the boiling point of water now being 0°C and not, say, -4°C.

  • @nickparry01 yeah I mean that, but I guess you mixed freezing point with boiling point, because boiling point of water in ambient pressure is at 100°C, but actually youre right, thats what i meant, sorry for my bad english :D

  • @Onurr91 Yes, I meant melting point! We both made mistakes but at least we know what we are on about! Lol.

  • @Onurr91 Magic got it

  • @Onurr91 but, it didn't freeze as soon as he opened it... it froze after he turned it upside down once...lol...time for a google goose hunt. YAY!

  • @Onurr91 ok i wikipedia-ed "supercooling" after some research. I'll post it in 2 posts one after the other, but not as a reply to you.

  • @Onurr91 Actually genius if I may, the coke co. doesn't fill it up with air to get high pressure air. Well it does but only do get the fizz effect they fill it up with co2. Some of this co2 rises because it wants to escape and surprise, high air pressure. I can do this same *trick* with my house refrigerator. Okay so you were right I'm just a perfectionist. It was discovered by accident, then again what isn't :]. Damn I have to get a life! :P

  • @Onurr91 yes, you are exactly right. the pressure keeps the water from forming crystals, this is how it can get way subzero at the bottom of the sea.

  • I just got one from a shop in Qld, Aust! Didn't work so well, but I didn't do it as quick as they did in the vid...

  • Really cool vid (pun totally intended.)That stuff would probably sell by the freakin' boat-load here in the States. C'mon, Coke, share the love!!

  • epic.

  • auch wegen facebook hier -.-

  • what the fuck that have on the inside?!!!

  • can i do with ice tea?

  • I think you can still do this to any coke

  • God patched this on America.

  • WITCHCRAFT!

  • Holy shit!! When he was getting a shot of inside the coke bottle, I could literally smell the coke!

  • @Zuckwad243 coca cola have trained you well my friend.

  • она наверное вредная пиздец

  • Вот бы нам такую=))

  • Holy crap, I live in Hong Kong and I didn't even know this existed O.o

  • @popcornzoe how can you not see them they are everywhere even in government buildings

  • Why'd they take the machines away????

  • whats the secret

  • FROZEN COCK

  • @JackFrost1488 HAHAHAHHAHAHHAH LOL

  • Isn't that super cooling?

  • What the hell!? Why hasn't America cashed in on this friggin gold mine? I mean, I guess because BK and 7/11 have coke slushies, but that machine would be much more convenient.

  • Coca cola slushies at 7/11

  • lol i got a frozen coke in a restaurant in orlando. too bad we don't have any in the uk =(

  • sad I had to look up quaff for an american

  • a quaff???? i think we all no wat that sounds like QUEEF

  • Watching this make me thirsty...Imma go grab a pepsi now

  • Though I wouldn't drink it, it would be amazing if a warm bottle of soda did that. But your tongue would probably grow eyes if you drank it!

  • That machine probably stores the bottles at a temp right before freezing. When the contents hit warmer air you will get that effect. I've been doing that for my kids for years because they like slushies!

  • They have fucking TV's in the vending machines?!!?

  • 'It taste like coke with ice in it."

  • America always says they are #1. But in reality they are not >.>

They can't even afford to have all this cool stuff with all the enormous amount of debt.

    #1 country my ass.

  • awesome my local shell service station has one, jelly?

  • Cuz it has lead lol

  • wait.....is that a TV in that Coke Machine??? Cool... why cant we have things like that in the USA??

  • Awesome !!!

  • is it real?

  • Where the fuck are these things in north america

  • that cant be good for your stomach :L

  • taste like coke with ice in it, coke flavored ice

  • i thought they said queef when they read quaff hahahha XD

  • but why wud u want to freeze it that much? coke with ice chunks in it isnt that nice to drink

  • I've seen these a lot but being winter I'd be damned to cough of the 11 bucks for the damn thing. Maybe when the summer comes full bore I might get that desperate.

  • Dude i got Coca cola in vanilla taste! :)

  • @MichaelJackson199 if only they still had cola vanilla here in holland... they dont sell it anymore here -.-

  • @xClown55 :/

  • @MichaelJackson199 what.... i even send coca cola company a email today to ask why they dont sell it anymore xD they said that it doesnt sell good -_-

  • @xClown55 Hmm idk :I

  • Tell me these things aren't $14.

  • Sometimes when I have left my drink too long to the freezer its like that, frozen bits everywhere, no need to shake it!

  • looks like your wearing lipstick

  • What the hell why is this not in north america yet.

  • I've noticed this phenomenon with bottled water I've put in my freezer. It won't freeze until it's disturbed. Freaked me out the first time I had a bottle "freeze" before my very eyes.

  • @jackvincent90

Just the same as regular coke

  • it isn't exclusive to hong kong. i remember trying a beta version of frozen coke in singapore a couple of months ago. i don't think it's sold anymore since the 'beta' testing period is over...

  • coke sucks! PEPSI <3

  • @Markusroxx

good comment. Because it was right on subject

  • @Markusroxx if i pour coke in to a pepsi bottle and told you its pepsi, you wouldnt even know.

  • @GenerationDarkness Bull shit! I'd know immediately.

  • @TheSwisherManCan dont deny the facts, you know you cant tell apart.

  • lol just put your coke in the freezer

  • FROZEN COOOOOOOKE!

  • i wonder what chemicals are in that that you drink to freeze it

  • Why is this not sold everywhere? Who wouldn't want a frozen Coke?

  • @spamdude1 ...Places that you can get slushies from? Like...a worldwide store?....711? Slurpees?

  • **** YEAH US CHINESE ARE ALWAYS AHEAD :D

  • coke is good. but so dangerous. just dont drink it alot people.

  • Hahaha Nice!!~

  • This is also available in Melbourne! Only one store has it though. Tried it once, its pretty amazing lol! Not as cold as i expected it to be but yeah, good enough for me.

  • Supercooling. Wikipedia that bitch and be educated.

  • al it realy is is the same as if u put a beer bottle in a freezer until just beform it freezies pull it out and open it and slam it of a table (gently but not 2 gently) the liquid freeses and ur friend cant drink it lols good times

  • and for a second i believed in magic....

once again, science and clever illusions ruin the day lol

  • Where in Hong Kong is this? I want to try one!

  • @ferrouswheel actually they have now taken away most of the frozen coke machines in HK (including the one we bought from), though I have heard there are still a couple around. I'll post the address up if I find one of them.

  • @CrazyFromKong Aw damn - thanks anyhow :-)

  • @CrazyFromKong one in central if i remember correctly

  • @CrazyFromKong dude they are everywhere now! I saw two today, there is one right inside the main entrance to the Mong Kok computer centre, as well as one in the upstairs waiting area of the star ferry from central - tst, central side. Enjoy!

  • @ferrouswheel I saw one last week at the Kowloon Tong mtr station. Hope that helped :)

  • @MrKLetang thanks - that's right where I work!

  • @ferrouswheel just put a sealed bottle of coke in the freeze for about an hour or so (don't let it freeze) and when you open it you'll get the same effect....

  • @ferrouswheel There's one near me and i always see it after school. In Sha Tin, the MTR station, there's one~

  • @ferrouswheel It's back! They put the frozen coke machine back in Causeway Bay, behind Sogo. We just did a review of frozen Cream Soda at the machine. Check it out on our channel!

  • @CrazyFromKong i guess they switch it out by the seasons.... i wanna frozen coke in the winter...
