  • awesome bass riff! I honestly think this is REAL MUSIC. I live in a dance music family,so I'm used to shallow music, but this is music for those who break away from what's popular. This is for those who dont give a frick who anyone thinks! THUMBS UP FOR ORIGINALITY!

THANK YOU GORILLAZ

  • @jaffabeans Nah the fall was recorded on tour using an iPad. Not really a studio album and not really the Gorillaz style either...

  • this is my favorite song by them, and I also got an awesome face/palm moment when I scrolled down and looked at the comments and read that someone actually thought that this guy posted a commercial with his video, that's not how it works...

  • 11.40 pm and can't stop listening. I loved the original album, Demon Days and Plastic Beach... I hope Gorillaz do another proper studio album. And to all those arguing over mainstream or not just shut it and hit the repeat button until ur mouse breaks. Who cares? It's some of the best music going. Don't spoil it by reminiscing about the past. Enjoy the music and BorderCollie42 out!

  • this stuff is like crack to me.

  • Gorillaz can't go mainstream, then they'll be up there with justin beiber

  • @spongymode the idea behind gorillaz, they technicallly are 'mainstream' they are on a major record label with millions of fans worldwide, but they take away the celebrity aspect of it because they dont show themselves, it doesn't matter anyway, they'll always have a cult following!

  • Smoke Weed

  • @CLASHofTHElonders lmfao

  • aw man, i remeber when i was young i used to listen to gorillaz all the time, often whilst muti-tasking

i still have this very song still stuck in my brain

  • Gorillaz is NOT mainstream ... Popular with some songs, yes, but 85% of the people I know/meet have no clue who they are as a band. Many of the people who claim to like them don't even know the backstory and only like the new stuff, which leaves them screwed over for being a poser. But I love them, truly, and there's not many people who do. So, NOT MAINSTREAM.

  • @rivalovesgorillaz if 15% of all the people you meet have heard of something its considered quite mainstream. Truly obscure stuff doesn't even have a whole percent of people. Not that its relevant anyway, i mean does it make you feel cooler to be listening to something most people don't listen to?

Also i wouldn't hold it against anyone to not know the background of a band in which all 4 members are imaginary, even if they are awesome imaginary characters like Noodle

  • For those of you that think they are mainstream you must not know what the term mainstream means. it means belonging to or characteristic of a principal in which something is dominant or widely accepted.

And since when was there anything wrong with being successful?

  • Wa-wiggity wa-wa-waa...waah

Have no fun, go fuckin wing it?

  • only hipsters label stuff " mainstream " or " underground " who cares really, if i like, i just kick back and listen to it.

  • @CoolConejo yea wtf is up with that man o.e cant sit back and enjoy music without seeing comments like they're mainstream they suck now

what? is everyone trying to be cool or sumfing

    who gives a sh!t -_-

  • @CoolConejo people have been calling stuff underground for years... only hipsters use "mainstream"

  • @CoolConejo Only assholes label people as "hipsters" or "assholes" who cares really, if i like, i just kick back and chill with them.

  • @Enjoi14 Dude he wasn't being mean, why you gotta call him an asshole? Also you called yourself an asshole but i think that might of been on purpose.

  • 21 years of skateboarding. Gravity never let me down gently, either.

  • no me importa el letrero de advertencia total yo solo se español :D

  • ISNT THIS CALLED GRAVITY? NEVER LET ME DOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • Que temazo!

  • @Rodristation buen tema ;)

  • @omdway Didn't mean to hate, I agree they where original. Saw them live last year, but I have to admit I only like the "Gorillaz" titled album. I started listening to the Hieroglyphics right away, after listening to the Clint Eastwood track.

Music is good, or music is bad. Nothing else.

  • @hideandziek dont listen to them they just hatin

  • So what mainstreem or not their talented, fuckin idiots

  • :O what Should have Been a Single and Animated

  • heplo boom boom vup wiggy

  • I'm so thankful my family had good taste in music, before I was born,

  • the like bar is like chuck norris you cant beat it

  • who needs super bass when you can have double bass?

  • @clinteastwood845861 superbass was a song by nicki manoj or something right?

  • @oliball123 no its not

  • @XxxEpicman3456xxX yes it is stupid

  • you people must understand that the mainstream is nothing more then just music that appeals to everybody. a simple 2-3 layered song, with easy to understand lyrics and very simple rhyems, occasionally, hey you technically wouldnt have good music like this if the mainstream didnt exsist.

  • 1:17-1:20 "oh what a fucking faggot"

  • I like to think he is saying

    "Oh man I'm fuckin wiggin"

Mainly cause that's what I was thinking when I first heard this.

  • "I wanna hump a chicken."

    My interpretation.

  • I CAN'T DESCRIE THE FEELING I HAD WHEN I FIRST LISTENED TO THIS SONG

it was late at night and i had my earphones on

    i was sleepy

and this was like a dream

    THIS IS AWESOME SHIT

FUCK YOU JUSTIN BIEBER AND LADY GAGA

GORILAZ IS THE BEST SHIT IN THE WORLD

  • To me it sounds like that distorted voice says "Zombie Hip Hop is wicked". I'm almost he's saying Zombie hip hop, especially when it echoes out.

  • Why do I keep hearing "I want to fuck" in the background to this song?

  • @bolshevik117 in all honesty i meant what i said but couldn't think of any other word for it. :3

  • whyyyy?????

  • "All aboard the fucking wagon!" ?

  • @slackingstacker Hop on.

  • @slackingstacker lol i heard that too :P

  • fuck hipsters

  • Weed and this Song !!! His Voice goes deep in to my soul.

  • @AtzeRomar YES DUDE

    THIS SONG IS FUCKING AWESOME

  • Gorillaz is the best. and 1:38 is the most epicest thing ever, damon's voice is amazing (damon Albarn if im correct). But this song is by far my favorite song from the Gorillaz

  • @TheBluelight29 uhu idd Damon Albarn is his name.

  • THIS SONG IS FUCKING AWESOME

  • think thats noodle singing cuz her voice is yust so cute :3

  • @pkwva nope. In the rising of the ogre it says that Noodle and 2-D were sitting on the roof of the buildings they stayed in (located Jamaica) and 2-D said he was randomly singing to the universe and that's how they got this awesome track. Noodle record this track

  • @Foxata16 need to buy that book

  • @pkwva haha, actually you can download it. and then with adobe digital edition you can read it. it's been a week since I started to know the gorillaz and found out bout that book. couldn't wait to read it so I downloaded it via torrents. (even though, I'd like to have an original copy too. so if I have the chance to buy it. it's min1!!!)

  • la musica deja un rastro en la memoria imborrable y es nostalgico cuando escuchas esas canciones y revives esos tiempos en que la conociste.

    ¡¡¡me gusta Gorillaz !!! i got the tape since 2001 :)

and like north american people say , this is some serious shit !!!

  • I just love this song, amazing tune.

  • man the album was and is still hot

  • EPIC!!!!!!

  • lol this rap sounds like a transformer rapping!

  • my family listened to mainstream stuff for as long as i was a kid, i started listening to this, and they just shook there head, so i told my friends they just shook there head's too, told me to go back listening to mainstream i broke away from that group.

"woken up" if you will, now i spread Gorillaz as far and wide as i can.

  • @TheAlchemist7771 hipster. smh.

  • @WillyRavaRova i know im not a hipster. so whatever man

  • @TheAlchemist7771 We need more people in the world like you.

  • @TheAlchemist7771 Who cares about "mainstream" it is only a label listen to what you want to it dosent matter if its "mainstream" or not thats a stupid society term. I HATE PEOPLE RAWR 3MO RAWR

  • @TheAlchemist7771 Gorillaz are mainstream.

  • @MrJaymers Ok. You suck penis if you think that Gorrilaz are mainstream club music.

They change they're dtyles of playing almost every single song so you are an idiot. I know i was harsh but, seriously man.

  • @xXBRSAXx It depends how you define mainstream. They're quite accessible, cos some of their singles have appeared in the charts. I'm not using it in a derogatory way, but they have had some mainstream success. I like the gorillaz but having an ecclectic style isn't neccessarily a good thing.

  • @MrJaymers gorillaz are are an everything stile

    rap pop rock.. = gorillaz

they are just an awesome band

  • @MrJaymers yeah, i guess you got a point there

  • @xXBRSAXx Define mainstream? You don't have to be such a fucking asshole. He means by "mainstream" it got on the charts and a lot of people got to hear it. Which is a good thing.

    Faggot.

  • @Venddenta hey i appologized to him >:(

  • @MrJaymers no they are certainly not

they had some mainstream stuff but they are not all over MTV everyday to be considered mainstream

  • @TheAlchemist7771 You do realize that Gorillaz is mainstream now, right?

  • @upyoursize Yea but apparently everyone is shaking their head at Gorillaz music! Since when is this okay?

  • @ScaryMonstahh Since they started going downhill.

  • @upyoursize Gorillaz have never gone downhill in my opinion.

  • @ScaryMonstahh *COUGH COUGH* THE FALL *COUGH COUGH*

  • @upyoursize I think you need some cough drops, and I personally loved The Fall. I just don't think that every person is going to like all Gorillaz music. But you just wait for their B-Sides album to Plastic Beach, it may take a while for that to come, but I'm sure you'll change your mind. Besides, The Fall was an album created over 32 DAYS, so while Damon was on tour, he made that. When usually, Gorillaz studio albums come out approximately 5 years apart!

  • @ScaryMonstahh I'm just saying all they've been putting out is this shitty electronica music that doesn't sound like what Gorillaz was when the first album came out.

  • @upyoursize Did Gorillaz ever label themselves as one genre? I don't ever remember them doing that! As a Gorillaz fan you must know that they never put out the same style of music each album!

  • @ScaryMonstahh Did I ever say they labeled themselves? Because I certainly don't remember that. And yes, they do have the same style of music from album to album. They have the poppy stuff, the hip hop and rap, the electronic stuff, etc. Each song is different. I'm just saying the songs are getting shitty. Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head for example.

  • @upyoursize If you actually look at what Damon says about each album, you'll notice that the self titled Gorillaz album was more hip hop style, Demon Days was a definite alternative pop style, and that Plastic Beach was more of the electronica sound.

  • @upyoursize who cares?

  • @watwouldudiefor I was making a point, not addressing an issue.

  • @upyoursize stop being a hipster who cares?

  • at 00:38 i get so pumped

  • @upyoursize now , yeah cos they got popular. this is their first album and they werent mainstream back in the days

  • @upyoursize i think they're just partially mainstream

not rihanna or lady gaga mainstream but people know them...

    you know what i'm sayin'?

  • @upyoursize yea they changed too much

    shame really

  • @upyoursize no they aint.. did you even hear the fall?? plastic beach?? d:sides?? come on nigga..

  • @thadboy916 Do you realize that mainstream isn't a sound?

  • @upyoursize anything worth listening to becomes mainstream at one point or another
