  • I really loved the "Rifleman", Chuck Connors character believed in a peaceful life. He had that rifle, and shot holes in all of the bad guys. Nothing is more peaceful than a dead man.

  • MARK MC CAIN from the rifleman. i did not know he could sing !

  • @baldy194859 yea he sung a couple of times on the show. I like those song better than this one. but I guess he was sing about that girl in the vid. I dont know might be his wife.

  • The 65 year old Crawford has, for a number of years now, had his own "Johnny Crawford Orchestra" which plays yesterday's dance music. According to GOOGLE, Crawford and his old high school sweetheart (Charlotte Samco) got back together in 1990 (he graduated H.S. in 1964) and were married in 1995.

  • this reminds me of what a super time it was to be growing up

  • This is EASILY one of my favorite songs from the 60's. I wish I had a video of him singing it.

The first girl I ever went out with in 1964 was Cindy Chamberlin. If I ever find her, I will sing this to her.

  • @urdivine i hope you find her. So cute.!

  • @DukeChiTown

    your a azzholde

  • @DukeChiTown I never seen him kill anyone that didn't try to kill him first.

  • Top Notch it is even on my old Album!!! thanks!

  • When I was a kid this was my favorite.

  • awesome........

  • This song is top notch.

    Johnny's voice is exquisite.

And the backup instrumentation is of the highest studio quality and talent, for its time.

A true masterpiece that was sadly underexposed on the radio airwaves.

  • My first heart throb. I was 12 years old and soooo in love with him. He came to my town and did a concert in a bank parking lot when I was 13. I got to meet him and got his autograph. I still have it 47 years later!

  • I always had the biggest crush on him when I was growing up. I thought he was so handsome. What a cutie he was.

  • I think that Johnny Crawford is better at this era of music....This music to me is more appealing and he shows his voice more....I also like Moon River....Something Special and other songs that he recorded....He will always be known as Mark McCain....The Riflemans son....RiflemanRay

  • How's Cory Crawford?
