Jesus also said in that same scripture that if we should drink anything poisonous,it will not harm us. DO you see anybody running around with posion to test their faith?
They do drink strychnine, one lady in and earlier part said the Lord did lead her to do so. In fact I saw a documentary where a man did drink this poison and it was tested and determined to me a deadly dose, however it was determined that he had drunk a little at a time and built up a tolerance to the deadly dose.
Personally, I prefer a little soy milk in my morning tea but I suppose I can see the practical benefits of building up a strychnine tolerance. Many a historical prince would have lived to a ripe old age if only they'd thought to dose themselves on poison.
