  • I practice kickboxing, but I´m going to train this techniques!

I have a great hand technique, but I lack the confidence to use it when I´m on a real match...

I think learning more about boxing could help me, what do you think?

  • @pumps8989 I'm sure it will do no harm. I suppose you'll have to use your judgement on the stance as kick boxers seem to have a more square on stance? I'm sure this stuff will contribute to your overall style though. Thanks

  • fredd love the page great tips helped me add a lil more to my arsenal ... question whats the best condition method to develop good knockout power ?

  • i love all you vids ....

  • Once again.. love the videos.. Training is going a lot smoother.. Thanks

  • @SouthJerseyDjUndone Good. As long as you are noticing small improvements week after week then you'll get to where you need to get to! Thanks for the comment.

  • Hello great vids, but I am having a problem with my feet sliding out of stance when i punch, putting me off balance. How can I solve this problem? Thank you ahead for any answers you give.

  • @CourageFaithHonor There's a few possibilities. I ignore the possibility that the gym floor is slippy. There's 2 main possibilities to think about. If your back foot is slipping when you throw a left hook or long left shot, then that is likely to be because your body weight is 'following' your punch, rather than hammering onto the back leg as it should. Slipping could also be down to going 'flat-footed'. Staying on the balls of your feet with a well placed stance provides more stability.

  • Thanks for the advice, I just won my first u16 fight, but when my opponent connected to my face it really stunned me, is there anyway to get around/used to this so I can counter more effectively?

  • Hey Fran great stuff !! I was wondering if you can make some partner drills for high performance boxers and then i don t mean hit each other on the hands but pointing it to the face almost like in real combat.

    Greetz Abdul.

  • i have my first proper organised fight in a week, what preparations/tips are the most vital for a 15yr olds first fight?

  • @TheyCallMeTheWinner OK. Firstly think about speed for your last week, so in the gym really speed those hands up. Your fight will be fast and furious, but try to remember the basics that your coach has taught you and stay cool. Hands high, and good fast, straight shots will work just fine. Get a good night's sleep the night before and eat a light meal on the evening. Other than that, just enjoy yourself and get that win.

  • waffles?

  • @PremierDrumz OK then.

  • If I can throw a chest punch at the same head level of a jab to the chin without leaning forward, I assume that is OK unless I reach a body part that requires me to bend forward, if it does, you say then to bend the knees, which I do, but I think I am guilty of leaning forward at times and I will try to focus on that more. Thanks.

  • I've noticed this before but you seem to "flick" your right hand when you throw straight shots. The wrist seems more bent. Is this a habit of yours or some advantage to the punch? Great video, as always. They've helped me a lot.

  • Pretty cool that you now made a combo.I suggest you make videos on combinations.I would love to see some nice combos but not just showing the motions but actually pretending like you have an opponent in front of you .Basically like shadow boxing but explaining a bit in detail which move should you do after this one and if it doesn't land what to do next and what to expect from the opponent. Some footwork mixed in with that would be helpful in my opinion.
