The SRX team are the main characters of the series. There is no way they wouldn't show up, especially if there is a new upgrade. Kyousuke on the other hand... he's reached the end of his story. KInda sad, Excellen was my second favorite character after Ryuusei.
Ideon could be countered by a simple Orgone Cloud or DCS. Granteed Dracodeus or Zeorymer could just teleport behind it and wreck it while it was busy firing.
The reason why i think Banpreios and SRX is awesome, is because they can kick ass real good, and are highly mobile (at least for a super robot. super robots are usually slow and gets hit all the time)
its funny how after seeing what the srx can do in OGS banpreios looks kinda...well....weaker than it....... that being said though, i look forward to seeing how much more over the top it becomes (if thats even possible, although if ogs and ogg taught us anything its that nothing can be too awesome.) im especially looking forward to watching the new HTB cannon pretty much take out a galaxy if not more.
Having played OG, I know how the SRX is formed, but how is the Banpreios formed now that they have to add Mai to it? Does she form the extra-large head?
Incorrect. The Banpreios is the combined form of the ART-series (the successors to R-1,2, and 3). In @3 they couldn't get it all working right because development was rushed so the transformation was locked in place. It is still a combined unit, but it is hard-wired to be unable to decombine.
Both of astranagants are very dangerous with their final attacks.
And if you count all originals, the Neo Granzon would take the second place at the least. Before the Valzacard came to be, Neo granzon was said to be the strongest. Only the Astranagant was said to be able to hold him in 1 vs 1 combat. If the Neo Granzon and Valzacard were to battle it would probably just depend on who gets the first hit.
the original SRX is the 4th strongest after the Astranagants. Banpresto isn't going to have their mascot left in the dust. Banpreios can pretty much kill anything except Val. Though, a fight between Neo Granzon and Banpreios would likely rip apart SEVERAL demensions.
That, and Banpreios can tear down the barriers between demensions when it's only at like 25% power(It was missing Aya and it was in the process of saving Ryusei)
Try to make it look better than fusing robots? Despite the fact that that is "EXACTLY" what the R-series does?
Also, try to remember that the SRX was the first combining super robot created in the OG storyline. As such, they weren't looking to make the robots look cool so much as make the machine effective.
I myself don't mind the SRX's design. It takes a little while to get used to, but after that I even started to like the design.
But does the Colossal Blade have a cool ass animation where it assembles, thrusts through the enemy, separates WHILE INSIDE THE ENEMY, then slices through again? Nope, not even close.
Well, seeing as the SRX is essentially Banpresto's mascot (hell, they turned their LOGO into the SRX =p), and considering the development of the ART-1 in Original Generations Gaiden, it seems MORE than likely that the Banpreios will show up in the inevitable OG3. Which, in essence, means shiny shiny pretty robot explodyness =p
Last minute improvements. Only downside is that it can't separate and I wouldn't consider that a downside in any way, shape or form, since you'll really only want Rai and Aya to support an already powerful mech rather than downgrade to three mediocre ones.
It's assumed that they're last-minute improvements to the R-Series' replacements, to allow them to function as the completed Banpreios, if not as seperate units.
No, it's not in the game files at all so you'd be stitching it from whole cloth, not an easy job.
The SRX is quite strong enough in OG2, and worth using just about every time you can, it has excellent ranges, power, and is almost necessary for several Skill points.
Yes, but it has dramatically different attack animation and modified appearance.
What I'm saying is that there are no Data files Extant in OG2 for the Banpreios, to make him you'd need to program not just attacks but extensive animation changes, hence stitching it out of whole cloth, unless you want all its attacks to look like status missiles...
Hmmmmm...To make it's appearance al you'd need to do is ROM hack the SRX, and as for the attacks.........I haven't gotten that far as to figure those out.
You dramatically underestimate the amount of work required. Like I said, you can just mod the sprite, that's not hard, but if you want animation in any way shape or form that is not just debug missile shots, and what is the Banpreios without the Busouken?
In the game Nendou Busou Ken. Banpreios's weapons are about a thousand points stronger than the Mazinkaiser if both are upgraded equally. Mazinkaiser needs it's Mazin Power to deal as much damage as some of the other big name damage dealers (Shin Getter/Gunbuster/Dancouga/Dygenguar). It's still a great platoon sweeper and not a bad boss fighter thanks to Kouji being a great pilot, just don't expect it to deal over about 16000 damage.
Not only did Neo Granzon in OGG not do this but also you had fist of the north star folka plus all kind of other new original powerful mechs completely unavailable to you in Alpha Gaiden. Yes Banpreios would give a Shu a really hard time even if his granzon was the one in alpha gaiden b/c of srx team sp abilities.
For those who don't know Shu and his NeoGranzon of Alpha Gaiden, let me explain. He had over 800 sp, in which he would use every turn to 100% hit/evade, 1/4 dmg shield, and a skill superior to hotblood which multiplied
total damage times 3. Which means every turn he would off at least one mecha a turn. Also you had to bait a unit/burn sp just to waste his skills as bait to hit him. Then if you actually hit him, not only would the dmg be reduced by the skill, but also by his Gravity field.
OGGs Neo Granzon though was overall weak sauce in comparison to the Neo Granzon of Alpha Gaiden for the reason you just stated. But I'm going to still hold that SRW 3 Neo Granzon as one of the hardest versions of it
OG Gaiden Neo Granzon was weak compared to any/all versions. Just more evidence of the current director's disdain for Masou Kishin story and characters.
OG Gaiden Neo Granzon is weak is largely due to the system. OG's system is pretty forgiving thanks to SP Regen, Concentration, Attacker, and In/Gunfight. Neo Granzon is hard in 3 because 3 is very archaic and unforgiving, Neo granzon is hard in @Gaiden because he keeps regenerating and casting spirits. In OG He's pretty sad because of twinning, no regen, and easy stage.
Oh and the rest of the Masoukishin won't be in OG according to the director. Couldn't find a way to fit em in
But they had to rush to complete it, so they put the peices together and disabled the transforming mode. So while the pieces of the new R-Series are there, they cant' separate.
lol, did you guys noticed that when Ryusei hits the Gaun Genocider, when the laser form the Bampreios's eyes hit, you can hear the music from the bampresto's logo.

Also, the second attack, with the beam katars... The moment it spins before attacking, it's the same stance the Valzacard does in SRWW. Banpresto loves to recycle this stuff, eh?
Until Valzacard don't come out of the pixelated animations, and don't got itself some good quality instruments, and high-renderized zoom-ins won't display a good show as Banpreios does.
I like both version of Banpreios but this one is the coolest! Already play the SRW@3. It's very intruiging and have a great storyline! I play as Touma and his DaiRaiOh. JINRAI!!!

I take it you haven't seen the dynamic kill version of EXA Nova Shoot Over.

Until Valzacard don't come out of the pixelated animations, and don't got itself some good quality instruments, and high-renderized zoom-ins won't display a good show as Banpreios does.
That's from a strictly DS-user, mind you!

Dios mio que Poderoso es el Banpreios, el digno sucesor de SRX

Its SRX Altered Banpreios. You get it in the game since SRX is destroyed.

Keep your fingers crossed to see Banpreios, Dis Rev and DaiRaiOh in the next SRWOG sequel!! :D
8BitManiac 4 years ago
Banpreios's first form is in, I don't know who Dis Rev is, but DaiRaiOh doesn't seem to be there.

Dis Lev is the Power source that turned the SRX into the DiSRX in divine wars it also turned the werkbau into the Dis-Astranagant in this game

Is this one coming out in the U.S.?
BurningSnow2012 5 years ago
Nope because of the licensing. Unlike the the original generations which are strictly banpreios created characters.
unholydude 5 years ago
You must mean strictly Banpresto characters
RyuseiDate 5 years ago
Yes thats what i mean ryusei since banpresto only has to license theirs which probably doesnt cost them much
unholydude 5 years ago
its just my imagination or the background music sounds like godannar main theme?
Gankutsuou507 5 years ago
Nope its a remix of the SRX theme "Spirits of Steel".
BassGSnewtype 5 years ago
yeah i know bout it sounds so familiar
Gankutsuou507 5 years ago

kengkaj 5 years ago 2
where can i get this soundtrack?!!?
i looked on wiki, and banpreios is basically a gigantic, destructive, advertisement for banpresto.
grooter 5 years ago
he said "Reitei Ruach-sama banzai!", which meant "Long live the Spirit Emperor Ruach!"
eisuka 5 years ago

I like both version of Banpreios but this one is the coolest! Already play the SRW@3. It's very intruiging and have a great storyline! I play as Touma and his DaiRaiOh. JINRAI!!!
xXxMeGaMRedZxXx 5 years ago

Omegatron666 5 years ago
Anybody knows what he Ryusei says during the Nendou Bousou Ken - slash part? "Cho Hisastsu! Tejou Tegura... Nendou Busou Ken... HISAGIRI!!!"
Been hearing this phrase even when i watched the OG OVA... Wonder what it means...
SoulGundam 5 years ago
that's 'tenjo tenge nendou musouken' dunno where people keep getting "busou" from.
Zetsabre 5 years ago
Also, it's "Ryuseigiri" (Meteor Slash), not Hisagiri. It's a pun on Ryusei's name, of course.
AslanCross 5 years ago
If you want to know more about him then go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SRX_Altered_Banpreios

I wish they'd feature a game where the J originals can guess star to fight SRX. Banpreios looks corney.
