Pilot 'heroes' my ass. I was a mechanic on several Air Force airframes and the pilots always get the hero routine in every video I watch. Its always officers giving the interviews on what the airframe can do, but I promise you 9 times out of 10 those officers have no clue. What about the mechanics who would put in 12+ hour days so the ungrateful pilots can fly 2 hour training missions every day? Where is the video on that?

U-2 pilots have it much worse than the average pilot. Much respect for the maintainers, but those pilots are a breed of their own.
