Tool assisted speed runs are fun to watch, but there's absolutely no way any human on Earth could beat the game at normal speed, without save states, like this. Kinda puts a damper on it.
He is playing on an emulator, so he can use macros and autofire. Hence it said "Tool- assisted speed runs". Kinda took some of the luster from this video for me when I started discovering these tricks on my emulators. Don't get me wrong though, it is still an impressive run even with aid. Just not quite as god like as it seems. Theoretically it is possible without aid...But VERY unlikely. You would have to have some damn fast fingers and reflexes for those kinds of presses and timing required.
It's an odd glitch I think. I saw my cousin pull it off. Basically when your floating in the water, you do a normal jump towards the right ceiling wall, then jump again to the platform and then you'll be on it.
I've been trying to do that jump at 7:53 but I can't seem to get it. How do you do it?
