igfx = Intel graphics? I've got a laptop that does that with Intel graphic settings, but wierdly, it happens on explosions on Roblox and the laptop was bought way after the launch of Vista.

Computer issue not vista! Vista is great as long as you know what your doing, if not shouldnt be working on your own comp anyways!!! find someone who knows!!!
vista sucks also if you want to instal a game theres a allow/denny about every 5 minutes of instalation and when you incert a cd theres also one. vista sucks assdude XP 4 EVER

I got vista and i reformated 2 times b4 i got it right.Hah i had to tweek it out a bit then after that it handled anything i throw at it. even a new nvidia sli 8500, plug and play on everything else:). Vista runs great as long as you read your PC magazine haha. dont upgrade!>=o
Well guess what? My Vista Ultimate hasn't given me any of that bullshit. Maybe Vista has a GAY SHIT game detector, where if you install gay shit like World of Warcraft, Vista decides to get rid of your video driver so you can't enjoy it anymore.
Guys I have a question. I play Guild Wars, and had it running fully on the highest graphics level. Then installed Vista Home Premium, and now the frame rate slowed down drastically, it looks like shit now. What's the problem, what do I have to do?
if your running Nvidia card on vista then its your own fult u got thos errors because Nvidias Vista drivers are still in beta where as ATI has 100% fully working vista drivers

yea same problem when hooking up external display to my i9400 the display driver stops working on my nvidia 7900GS 256mb, I expect some bugs that video drivers will clear up, but i spent money on a top of the line laptop and get errors from respectable manufactuers. SAD.

It said display driver stopped responding. I hate to point this out but this tells you what failed. It didn't say the OS. It says DISPLAY DRIVER. In addition do you understand Vista only provides limited OpenGL support? Graphics vendors will need to provide this support. Games like WoW won't work well until then. Also, in the past a video driver failure probably would have meant BSOD. As the system was able to survive the failure it showd Vista is pretty resiliant. Think befor you spread FUD.
