I guess according to that you'd classify it as a planet but whose to say the definition for planet is correct? I mean they've demoted Pluto on a whim, maybe a moon doesn't have to have a planet in its parameter to be deemed a moon. Maybe this "planet's" close proximity to the sun gives it the gravity it needs to stand alone using the sun itself as its anchor. What if gravity has nothing to do with the floatation, revolution or rotation of any celestial body? Just thinking outside the box here.
yeah, saturn's moon titan and one of jupiters moons are bigger than mercury, still they are classified as moons, i'm not really sure why they still have mercury as a planet, i guess because it is the closest object to the sun, and it revolves around the sun, which a moon dosn't.

This "moon" is travelling around the sun and not around any other planet. At leat this definition makes it a planet.
