Nintendo always have SUPERB music and sounds for their menus and games... I will never forget the music for games on the Game boy advance (despite the limited sounds spectrum) as well as the dsi interface music... this is where Sony doesn't excel. Very atmospheric on the 3DS too! Nice one Nintendo!

It isn't of matte finish, but it sports a new finish that fights-off fingerprint. The touch screen is almost fingerprint free no matter how much you use it.

its glossy so it will absorb fingerprints, but is designed so that they are gone with one single wipe with some kind of cloth, so its not like the ds lite
