I was thinking about doing some experimental videos with other games. However, I'll need time to come up with some ideas. For games there only two so far that I've given any extensive thought to. One of them being Uncharted 2 which has a much nicer machinima mode than Halo 3 that I need to play around with some more. The other game is Doom 2, only because, to my knowledge, no one has done one yet.

But i will take those into consideration and see if I can do anything with them.

well the sounds from the game could be blocked out. You could have a story line that you go by...... its ok, but there is a few places that i can't fit into this that could be better. For example; i make movies. I usally ask people what they think before i post. In the very end of the movie instead of replaying the explosion over and over again you could have them like escaping. Just a suggesten, but i think that would be a better. Also you stay in one place to long like just going around,

from the last comment, you could at the end have the spartens going to there base then having it get blowen up. For instance the when he jumps off the helocopter instead of just shooting the guy in the head and staying there. He could of had a real fight with like gearneds and then have them get killed by a warthog flying past and running them over. The fire fight in the base was good, but instead of enemy spartens you should of had aliens attacking them. It was good, but could be lot beter!

i see what you are saying, and while those are good ideas, they might not work out as well in this video. perhaps in the future, if i make another music video, i'll see if i can incorperate some of these ideas into it and it might turn out to be a huge success.

however for this video, i wanted the setting to be as current as possible, so it would better resemble a war in 2008, not 2552. so i wouldn't have been able to use aliens and other wierd futuristic stuff without it getting too random.

Really really cool. You matched the lyrics with the action in most scenes. I honestly thought it was going to be a video of someone playing Halo online and jut killing people. This is one of the only videos i watched in its entirety. I think the best part is when the music slowed down and you went into slow-mo with the chain gun. And your ending was great!

Dont listen to idiots ignorant opinions , its a good video , and was not made using the halo campaign , or cutscenes . there is nothing wrong with it . but i didnt know you like the offspring, i saw them in concert at warped tour a couple years ago .

and no, though it was done using Halo 3, i did not use any scene from the in-game campaign cinematics. Everything was shot in custom games with original concepts and theatre mode "camera" moves.

I'm not familiar with the game, but from a legal standpoint, I'm pretty sure that counts as not being your own footage. I think the point of the contest was to create it yourself. Either way, good luck, though!
