Mattnara, yes Jay really is 88 years old! He was born August 26th, 1923, in San Pedro, California at 3:30pm. I am married to him and trust me....his mind is quite youthful, sweet, joyful and present. I am 33 years younger than he is too!
That clip of Jay leading the old man by his hand is staggering... If Jay is older than that man that should be a wake up call to alot of folks. Jay may have age, but he is anything but old.
Jay Kordich was one of the pioneers to bring juicing to North America, but he certainly wasn't the first. "Norman Wardhaugh Walker" (An immigrant to the USA from Scotland) is the man who garnishes this award.
He began in 1919-ish in California, and had already invented a juicing machine and recipes by 1930.
