My face is so sad it's totally messed up I need to put like a new layer of skin on my face Idk what to do Why just strawberries by the way?? @samira827 Oh no I don't think your questions are mean at all!! In fact I know exactly how your feeling.

Ideally,you will want to use baking soda due to having a different chemistry to it.. If you must use baking powder you have to triple the amount of baking powder to equal the amount of baking soda. So, if the recipe called for 1 tsp baking soda, you would use 3 tsp baking powder. It doesn't have to be arm and hammer it can be any kind really.. You can use any kind of berry, it's the acids

@MsLinai I know it's almost instant... I usually use it about once a week just because my tee zone can get extemely oily in the summer.. I won't suggested u do it every morning just for the fact it can dry out your skin bad

Yes it does. An acid (lemon juice) plus a base (baking soda) becomes salt plus water. So lemon juice and baking soda fizzes and bubbles then becomes salty water. lemon juice also alreay has lots of sugar and strawberries have wayyy more sugar than the lemon juice so the baking soda is the nice salty grains that u need to exfoliate...

i dont have straw berries or strawberry yoghurt so can i simply use yoghurt or sweetened saffron yoghurt (a packed dessert)?

@aditi1998 I would use plain yogaurt ; ) not sure about the sweetened saffron though.. never tried it.. if you use it let me know how it worked!

@AmandaBear9 (it's not sweetened saffron, it's sweetend yoghurt with saffron, btw) but it works as long as its yoghurt right?? and saffron is good for skin so i don't have to worry about it :)

i use the baking soda one everyday :) except i use hydrogen peroxide so it doesnt go bad so i can keep it in the shower, but i use the lemon juice version all the time as well. i mean, when i run out i use the lemon one on occasion. also you can use water if you want something less abrassive.

I never thought of baking soda. I use lemon juice and organic sugar wash my face with warm water then use a cotton pad and scrub it in circular motions around my face. Lemon Juice is great for your skin it lops off dead skin sells helps with acne and age spots. I had bad acne when I was a teenager and I used this method and it cleared it up :) The sugar and lemon juice is like a mini face peel. I love it. I'm going to try the baking soda tho. I do the sugar method like three times a week
