  • Here in Brazil to have any gun is a crime.

  • @afgate123 About $600

  • C.A.T. sucks, worse tourniquet ever, the plastic brakes over time and wear, so when you lay on it wrong or are applying it in a stressful emergency under fire they tend to break if they aren't brand new. Good for non combat soldier who may need to use it in a bunker on the COS or FOB.

  • @seanmhearon So what do you use?

  • I just ordered one in coyote brown. should have it by WED. thanks for the review.

  • your dog eats fast too huh? lol my dog makes that noise after she drinks or eats

  • how much does it cost?

  • What is the retail on this?

  • Watch my official 3 parts video on the Eagle Industries c.i.r.a.s land

  • look out flyye industries, Flyye Force Recon Vest with Pouch Set Ver.Land

it's a good copy of the Eagle Ciras, a good copy:D

  • Oh, haha I didn't watch the video when I wrote the comment! I guess my vest works in the same manner, now I know how to open it! xD

  • I bought the Guarder Force Recon Tactical Vest, ever heard of that one? Anyway, this is my VERY FIRST ciras vest and I got it with all the pouches and things allready attached to it. I just heard it was a good vest so I just whattahell and bought it. Then I heard there were different types - Land, maritime etc. I'm very new to airsoft and I just wonder how the hell do I open the vest up?! Yeah, I know it might sound stupid, but I can't "crawl into" into it, you know what I mean? Please help!

  • To bad Eagle doesn't make that single rifle mag and double pistol mag pouch anymore that's exactly what I want If their FB pouches had Molle it would work.

  • This reminds me do you guys think the army is going to replace ACU with Multicam??

  • @Tux3d0

The army is already using Multicam in afghanistan...

  • @Tux3d0 they will, just in Afghanistan though

  • lol i think the dog is operating the camera!

  • seems like the user must spend a lot of time recognizing the slots and pouches of the vest.

  • do they have this vest in a non quick release because i want this vest and do not need that feature and it would take some wait of for me

  • @fierwall5

Yes its called the Land version (as in no need to drop it off in the water)

  • @GearBuyersGuide Do you know if these vests have the built in level IIIA padding woven into the front and back like the Marine Corps issues ones do?

  • @Garuda1337

    no

  • @GearBuyersGuide As in "no you don't know" or "no, there is no built in IIIA protection"?

  • @GearBuyersGuide The Land version has a quick release as well. The LE version does not have a quick release.

  • @GearBuyersGuide

The land CIRAS still has a quick release feature, it's just located at the bottom of the vest rather than the top like on the MAR CIRAS.

fierwall5 There's not a huge a mount of extra weight from a QR feature on the vest unless you can't hold a metal wire..?

  • @GearBuyersGuide both release, the only difference is how you secure the side panels. CIRAS stands for combat integrated releasable armor. so if it doesnt release, it isnt a ciras

  • these must be hella expensive, seeing how you cant pay your light bill....

  • @semisi2uh

You must still be leaning comedy, since that wasn't funny ..

  • @GearBuyersGuide I don't think it was supposed to be that funny he's gotta a point your lighting could be better but i just don't think he wanted to sound dry and critical. but for real how much did this set you back?

  • @21Assasin

I think your video quality sucks, but I want my question answered.. thats what I hear.. funny

  • lol dog in background

  • ITs kinda hard for me to tell is it Multi cam or woodland?

  • @ScreamingAirborne

    multicam

  • were can u put ur knife

is ther a pouch luv ur vids

  • were can u put ur knife

  • so i got the vest TODAY and it is a large vest...although, i put the dacron cord through the farthest hole, making it the smallest adjusted size possible and it actually fits nicely! it coves pretty much my whole front and back giving me the maximum amount of armor coverage...ill put a vid or pic up soon

  • @eastcoastdylan

Cool, thanks for the info.. Good to know it worked for you, and having more coverage is always better, right?

  • Comment removed

  • i weigh about 185 and am 5'10''

I like mobility and am not looking for a ton of protection

i ordered a large the other day

am i screwed? because most people go with medium

do u think i could basically swim in the large or is it going to work?

again, i dont plan on puting in plates...i just love the platform and mainly am going to be using the molle attachments

    Thanks

  • @eastcoastdylan

that may end up a bit big on you.. let us know though, be interested to hear how it works out

  • @GearBuyersGuide will do...i am kind of nervous to open it though..because the company's return policy is it cannot be opened...so, lol i wil prbly try and hold it up against me in the wrapping...although it will prbly be folded...what size do you think i should use? because i am mainly trying to be tactical and mobile. as well as on my range. Thanks

  • @eastcoastdylan

I am no good at estimating sizes, etc.. thats why I'm curious to know how that works.. too bad there isn't a place to try them on first..

  • thats badass, i want one xD

  • your voice sounds familiar, are you part of the gun website reviews too?

  • @jimbo45cal

    This is our other channel...

  • Do you know if you can buy the shoulder strap cover in which your sling is threaded separately. My vest does not have them and that looks very help for a sling.

  • why would you spend so much on this?.?.?.are you military?.?.?.because if you are or even law enforcement...you could just put in a request form for it and get it

  • @gto3440

sounds like you have it all figured out

  • @GearBuyersGuide not really...just what a friend of mine did when he was in the army

  • @gto3440 lol..... Request form? lol... Wow.. yea realize that majority of operators prefer to use their own gear, taken care of by themselves, and maintained by themselves. I never liked putting my life in someone else's habits. How much is your life worth?

  • @suecyde i highly doubt you served...and they dont use the same gear all the time...they tailor theyre loadouts to the mission at hand...a light recon loadout wouldnt work when theyre going to a area that has a heavy enemy presence and expect to live...they take a vest that has enough armor and can carry enough ammo...get your head out of your ass and think before you talk again

  • @gto3440 lol.... yea you definitely have it all figured out. You don't rate to know my qualifications. You are obviously speaking from a fleet stand point with no recognition of special operations or operator classifications. You have the thought of going through your supply chain of command requesting gear and working with what you get. The SO units work a little different. So perhaps before you speak.... speak with a bit of knowledge. Instead of speaking out of ignorance.

  • @suecyde once again...i doubt you served and i know people over in the middle east right now...they tell me anything i ask...and i am off to my army basic in 2 weeks...so fuck yourself civilian...i know thats what you are

  • @gto3440 You are acting like a tool telling someone to fuck themself becasue they are a civilian. I served 8 years in the infantry and another 4 months in operations, and it is becasue I love my country and its people.

  • @northy96 whatever...people make this shit up to make others feel low online...i could care less what you do or did...and i doubt you ever did...so fuck you too

  • @gto3440 It really doesn't matter what you think about who I am or what I have done. Just telling you, soldier to soldier, that your actions online reflect on your community. Telling people you are a superior human being beacuse you have just decided to join the military isn't just or cool. It is just reflection of someone with low self confidence, I hope you have an oportunity to develop that self confidence in BTC and AIT, I am sure you will.

    Sincerly, and respectfully.

  • @northy96 my actions reflect solely on me...and nobody else...i failed my physical so thanks a whole hell of alot for reminding me of that...its something i almost had out of my mind and i dont need to remember right now

  • @gto3440 if it has an NSN in theory you could order it, more than likely not matter what element of the military your in, it would take a min. as for this gear, half of it doesn't have an NSN, and main carrier isn't authorized for purchase by regular army units so you cant order it, how ever your supply guy could use government credit card on it, again not likely unless your on those "Guys". Been in awhile and its true, just alot easier buy your own, and file it on your taxes.

  • @JJordan0709 a friend told me if they buy it them selves...they arent authorized to use it in the field

  • @gto3440 these are popular with airsofters too, just without the armor plates.

  • @braydenmaine they are...one thing you can do if you want the ciras and it is legal to buy body armor(i have no idea if it is) they can just buy the dragoin sking armor vest that is like the police wear and put it under and just adjust the ciras with it over it and you have what you need there...i know it would be way uncomfortable but it would work for what its needed for

  • what web sit can i go to find armer plats

  • @shanepify if your a civilian...none...it is illegal for civilians to own body armor plating...soft armor is fine but not the plates...and if you buy it...they will either knock down your door to find out why or watch you closely and scrutinize every little thing you do...dont try and buy plates...its for your own good

  • @gto3440 There actually is no law against civilians owning any sort of body armor. If you believe I am wrong please cite some sort of refrence material instead of just saying I am an idiot.

If you need help with your physical, or physical fittness. You can contact me and I will try and help you.

  • @northy96 im in shape...but i am blind in my left eye...and i went to the local sherrif here in yuma and asked and they told me its illegal for civs to own body armor

  • @gto3440 civilians can own armor plates in most states, convicted felons cannot.

  • @poolee77 i found that out the other day...but you have to be 21...sadly i have another year to wait...at least

  • hi I really want to buy a real ciras for the next 2-3 weeks and what do you think about land or maritime which one is better?? I know the land got attach on the front and the mar on the side...

  • @richardvinc

    I like the Maritime better

  • @GearBuyersGuide ok thank you man

  • @GearBuyersGuide but why you prefer the mar to land version

  • -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- i bet all this cost like $1000000000000. if not it was still a pretty penny he had to shell out

  • how much was that all together?

  • were did u get ur flack vest hanger an were did u get ur ballistic plates

  • @stevan72256

We did a video ont he hanger, it's a well made item

Plates are available at many gun shows

  • That dog in the background is tripping me out....

  • just got my maritime vest. Wayy better than marine corps standard issue. Soft armor on the way. Takes a little time to size to you, but the vest works great. By the way... the Maritime vest DOES fit side SAPIs. You just drop it into the pouch on the side. Doesnt work as smoothly as the land version, but it works nonetheless.

  • Does anyone know where I could buy 12x14 plates for this vest? I have the vest but no plates.

  • Where can I get one of those rifle/pistol combo mag pouches? Cant find it on the Eagle website

  • how were you able to buy ballistic plates?

  • they are not regulated in the US

  • may i ask where you bought them from? im looking to get a set of balcs inserts and some ballistic plates for my ciras. thanks

  • or if not where you bought them from, a reputable dealer that sells to civis. any help is greatly appreciated

  • if your in the military you can get them but they are not legal that i know of

  • no you dont

  • you don't think body armor or plate carriers are legal? lol i cant find your new comment for some reason.

  • they are if your not in the Military or law enforcement. like me if i get out of the military ill have to do all kinds of paper work to keep the ceramic in the vests. but i also just ordered a Dragon skin about 3 days ago =) expensive as hell but worth it. and somethin is up with all youtube comments it took me forever to find yours.

  • you'll be happy to know body armor most any way is perfectly legal to own out side of the law enforcement military world.some one is pullin your leg if you paid for ceramic plates they are yours unless its some "Restricted" shit or you are just making it up as you go. i hear dragon skin failed mil testing.

  • Military grade Ceramic =) and Dragon skin test was rigged you can watch it on here and if you watch where the bullet hits an here it shows the hole is 2 different spots. im in the military but the soldiers life isnt worth the extra $4000 to help save us in combat.

  • then its cause they got a contract with whomever manufactures it for them, i can buy lvl4 legally i like steel better any way.

  • @DSMeclipsegst They went through an investigation by FBI and was determined they forged documents etc. Their product is not what they advertise it to be.

  • @leonkennedy74 ive seen real tests and i got mine in yesterday and just to test it shot it point blank with a M1 garand and it didnt penitrate it so its good to me the Military just doent want to spend alot of money on armor which is understandable due to the current economy but it should be implimented in as soon as it picks up in my opinion. but i belive dragon skin to be the best

  • Not worth the extra money? I'm military and I really disagree I would like to think my life is worth a little more then $4000. Though apparently the people in charge don't seem to think so.

  • @wolfzz5 well tell that to the testers that rigged the test to fail

  • @DSMeclipsegst If your having trouble finding comments I just hit the f3 key and type in a "key phrase" like just type the first 2 or 3 letters of the user name your looking for and hit enter.

  • @ZaoHuZhua you are a fucking idiot kid i can tell

  • @DSMeclipsegst Why the fuck do you have to be such a dick I am just fucking helping you out since you said you had problems finding someone in the comments, just a small tip what's your problem?

  • @ZaoHuZhua that was sarcasm dude the idot typed in @me like he responded but he didnt like a pussy

  • @DSMeclipsegst Hard to tell when texts don't express emotion.

  • Why do you think that cordura 1000D which manufactured in US so much better than China one's OK some of the chinese tactical gear is just crap but Pantac is different 1000 times durable than "chepo china" stuff.I don't know why you said that "airsoft crap" maybe you use your molle vest in real combat situation.I think the answer is NO!See you Airsoft BRAT!

  • Never heard of the company you mentioned, but since you were rude, there is little reason for me to research it

    See you later

  • what size is the ciras you demoed? any guide for body size vs. size of carrier? what is the best size for a 42 ish waist and about 6 ft 1? thanks

  • That is a medium.. I imagine you'd need an extra large

  • hmm really? based of of balcs panels i would use med, hmm.

  • Well I'm not expert on what size clothes (or armor) other people should wear, that's just my guess

  • ahh i see, well ill meet ya in the middle and go large. thanks!

  • didn't say it wasnt good for airsoft, but exactly that, would i bring a pantac rig to the range, or class? hell no. but for you to compare it to eagle, is really just dumb. eagle offers a lifetime warranty, i dare you to find an airsoft brand that can do the same.. nuff said

  • Gearbuyers is reviewing a REAL combat vest so I don't know why you would even mention a Pantac airsoft gears.

So Pantac is top of the line AIRSOFT GEAR but it will NEVER be combat gear so don't mix this crap with a real armor system.

  • so im not the only one who thinks this way? lol

  • @xCASDGuyx. well technically Pantac is being used as combat gear.. its used by the Canadian army special forces, by the US Army's corps of engineers, by the chinese and south african police departments, and by PMCs.. this is all according to the pantac site. i agree that Pantac isnt as good of quality as the real combat systems but its still pretty nice.

  • actualy pantac is a branch off of eagle industries but instead of made in us like eagle ind. pantac is made in china the matterial and everything is the same your practicly paying for the name

  • I purchased them from Triad Tactical several years ago. I don not beleive that it is a standard stocking item with Eagle.

I will check to see if I still have the packaging with the Part Number somewhere.

  • hey man nice review... kinda curious where you found the eagle m4 shingle with the double glock mag pouches? or if possible u have the part number for it? thanks

  • you got gear but you need a better cam.

  • we have newer cameras since when this was filmed

  • @GearBuyersGuide remake a new version

  • Is that a dog? It sounds like its doung something very Plasureable.

  • there was a little dog running around that day..

  • If you released it about how long does it take to put back together

  • good question, I'm still trying to talk him into releasing it so we can film it, LOL

I guess it takea a while

  • I heard you can buy these for around $200 in pakistan

  • The ones in Pstan are usually china copies. Such as PanTac and Flyye. Same quality believe it or not (with my limited time comparing the real EI and Pantac ones).

Check out PanTac's website, they supply the US Army Engineers, Canadian Army, and Chinese cops (according to them.)

    Its good stuff.

  • yeah I found out that the vests are made in china but the plates are US military issue

  • pantac is china made airsoft crap, fuck that

  • man all hell is breaking looses in the back rounds dogs whining people coming over thanks for the vid you are truly a busy man

  • yea we let our dogs stick around when we film..

  • That shits way too expensive i know it cant cost half that to manufacture.

also are us civilians alloud to own certian body armor for our protection or is that being infringed b the govt regulations on our rights as well?

  • I suggest you learn a bit more about business. If you seriously thing the Gear Manufactureres are getting weealthy by overcharging for armor you will be supprised when you learn the truth.

You are welcome to buy the forign made 'rip offs' just don't whine to us when they fall apart

I'm so glad to see you don't do your own research into laws that affect you.. instead you ask about them on the internet..

  • i was trying to make more of a statement than anything ill research it when i am ready or think i want some, i am not buying cheap ripoffs. honestly if i can get the stitching lessons i am thinking of making my own vest to show how cheap on can be made but with good shit one day maybe. i have seen a few plates that say you gotta be law enforcement or military to buy.

  • right on

Good luck with making your own. I felt the same way a few years ago, and I agree the cheap stuff if overpriced, but the better US made stuff is not only cleverly made, but theu use the finest materials available

  • warrior RICAS is the way to go a 1/4 of the price al mil spec 1000 cordura triple stitched rock solid i have one and i cant beak it

  • i just bought a Tactical assualt gear TAG Plate carrier and i got it for a bargain price on ebay its bran new, it feels nearly industructable i am very very happy with the quality of it i advise you all check out tag's gear.

  • thats badass, Bet it wasn't cheap.

When i win the lottery im gonna buy that off of you

  • The Land version can carry a bit more gear with the cummerbund than the Maritime. Some prefer side opening of the Maritime, others like front opening with cummerbund on Land version. Personal prefrence, both excellent kit.

  • Holy cow I've been waiting for a review on a CIRAS vest for ages. Thank you very much. I'm still debating whether to get the MAR or LAND.

  • What is keeping you from deciding?

  • Well one reason is that I'm afraid it will not fit my small body, and second because some of my friends have switched to the RBAV since it's lighter and cheaper. Honestly though I have many Eagle Industries products and they're great. Hopefully I'll get the chance to try one on. The review is great though, I was always confused about how the external cummerbund worked. Thank you.

  • i cant find the single mag pouch with the pistol mags on their website.

  • I think you can buy it with or without armor

  • does it come with the soft armor?

  • so all together including armor and accessories its looking to be around $1,000.00 give or take a hundred?

  • Probably more, each plate is like $350 - 400 US plus tax, the CIRAS is like $500 alone plus tax.

  • Great review, very informative. If I could offer one suggestion? Some kind of lighting would be helpful for most of your vids to ensure you are getting a good view. I know you use the flashlight, but just a constant beam would be more helpful.

  • Thanks for the comment.. we know the quality isn't all that great (yet) we make these sort of 'quick and dirty' so far..

We do plan to make longer, better versions once we can afford to do so / take the time to do it right

Sometimes we just have to 'go' when the gear is available too, LOL
