  • 1:08 Bank Angle! Bank Angle! plane should have stalled!

  • You know they do have a point replacing the 747 with a spaceship i mean how else did Jumba and Pleakley travel to Earth to collect Stitch?

  • hahaha pleakley

  • Jumba has the most amazing plane-flying skills I have ever seen. 2:59 he makes it look like an average day at the skate park

  • 'yes, how many pieces are in the four-piece luggage set?'

pleakly can be an idiot when he wants to be...

anyway, one of the possible reasons that this was cut would have been that this created a plot hole: how exactly DID jumba and pleakly arrive on earth?

  • @SC3PT1L3F4N Well, I suppose that it would create a plot hole, but the big reason why this scene was cut is the same reason why the twin towers thing was probably cut from the first Spiderman movie... After 9/11, scenes like this would just bring back painful memories of that day, and may even be criticized as insensitive or insulting to the vicims. As cool as this scene is, the decision to change it is respectable.

  • @1johnhancock I guess, much like Pudge the Fish being killed was cut for being too dark.

  • 0.30 ALOHAAA ! LOL

  • I Perfered Jumba and Pleakley's Space Clipper Ship

  • Ice cream guy still got owned...

  • This scene was ok, all except the part when Jumba drives on the Skyscraper... How many people were injured from that glass? O.o I still prefer the movie version. X3

  • dang great gags and great animation gone to waste. disapointment.

  • THE LIHUE AIRPORT DOESN'T HAVE A LARGE & BIG RUNWAY FOR DEAL WITH A 747, BESIDES, HOW THE HELL THEY PUT A 747-200 COCKPIT ON A 747-400 ? THOSE CREATORS ARE SO DUMBASS, LEARN FROM AERONAUTICS IDIOTS

  • No wonder they took this out. This shit would NOT have flown after 9/11. (Pun not intended)

  • they honestly shoulda kept this in the movie.

  • 9/11 connotations aside. I like the sequence in the movie better, this feels TOO weird, even for Lilo and Stitch,

  • THEY JUST FLEW DOWN ALA MOANA AVENUE

  • 2:40 The poor Icecream. T_T

  • lilo and stitch is my favourite disney movie! ^_^

  • "Tsunami Air"? Oh dear.

  • what? there's no crash. why censor?

  • @bin1127 I think it was just because the idea of flying a stolen plane through an inner city

  • @hmoush95 Though Honolulu.

  • 9/11 made a lot of changes to many movies.... Damn you al queda...USA USA USA! lol :P

  • I like this part more xD

  • I understand why they took it out, but still. I like this one better.

  • they sould have used this sequence instead (and mabey made it a dc 10)

  • ya.. the same thing kind of happend to the one of the spider man movies.

As part of the opening sequence spider man captures a bunch of bank robbers trying to escape via a helicopter by spinning a web between the twin towers and using it to entangle the helicopter.

  • @zbeast it also happened to the terminator movie, was set back a good bit by that also

  • Had Lilo & Stitch been produced a year earlier, the franchisee would have died in its infancy. The US government and Disney would have made a compulsory recall of all Lilo & Stitch movies and accessories.

  • why is this the only disney film that the deleted scenes are fully animate

  • The scene is great, too bad that was not included in the film. Gantu sounds in the american version much better than in the german Version.

  • That was tight! :D

  • Out of all the Lilo and Stitch deleted scenes, this one is my favorite. I really love the originall 747 sequence, I find it more fun and exiting than Jumba and Pleakley`s space ship sequence. But I understand why it was taken out, because of the 9/11 attacks on the world trade centre, I mean you can see exacly how close it resembles 9/11.

  • i prefer this scene over the one they used in the final cut

  • 3 things about this scene that pisses me off-

    1. The fact that they didnt use it

    2. The fact that they fully animated it and still didnt use it

    3. Its so awesome and they still didnt use it >:[ + the action fits for a more satisfying experience during the resolution of the story.

  • this was cooler then the 1 they used

  • To think you knew a scene lol

  • KEWL XD

  • @Buttersotchgirl99 deleted scene

  • how many peices are in the 4 peice luggage set?

  • omg, this is a good scene. why did they delete it?

  • Never understood why to change 9-11-related things. The scene is cool, and it smels like paranoia to remove it.

  • that's interesting, but i can see why it was changed. not only is it impossible to fly like that in an airplane that size, but also jumba and pleakly needed a ship to get to earth so it wouldn't make sense to steal an inferior plane

  • The tourist with the ice cream never seems to catch a break, does he?

  • Comment removed

  • "Al-OOOO-ha!!"

  • ixnay pleakly on the breathinhg thing was funnier

  • loved pleakly on the phone

  • wOw! This scene is so awesome! It should've definately been in the film.

  • they had to take it out because during the making of this 9/11 occured soo they had to change it

  • @LionKingRulezAgain

Yeah, makes sense. 9/11 was terrible.

  • OMG They should've kept this one!!! XD

  • Oh dear god, this totally cements Stitch as Most Awesome Alien Character. It's amazing how much they recycled from this version for the final version.

  • I still think in this scene, when Gantu finds Stitch is in the 747, La Curacha should have sounded. That made it hilarious.

  • How did you get this. I see you uploaded it before it was released on the 2-Disc edition

  • If 9/11 never happened, this would scene would have been a huge hit, instead of being deleted.....That's a shame.

  • This is Awesome! XD

    Damm you Bin Laden! >:(

  • @DaddlerTheDalek 9/11 was a conspiracy

  • my god gantu has rly bad aim

  • I can see why overly critical parents would find this offensive in the movie's first release, hence why their most likely cut the scene.

I'd love if they kept Pleakely's line! Except it wouldn't make much sense then.

  • oh the 4 piece thing luggage or what ever yeah

  • This scene would've been awesome in the film.

But, I agree, there was...that certain issue.

  • 3:10 Hehe, Boo!!

  • That should have stayed in, it was cool and Pleakley's line was funny.

  • OMG!

    Wow!

I didn't see this sequence, I knew that exists but I couldn't find.

    PD: Sorry, my english sucks!

  • it is on here now.

  • This is so cool! It explains why the red spaceship looks so much like a plane! I can see why it was cut (9/11) but they should've kept pleakleys lines they are so funny!

  • I think the spaceship would make more sense. Jumba would be much more likely to know how to use a spaceship then an earth plane

  • It was worth it to see the tourist get his ice cream knocked over.

  • Classic!!

  • On one hand, I can see why they would cut out something like this (9/11 was still haunting America). But on the other hand, it made no sense in the final cut why Jumba would have a spaceship if he was sent into exile. He could just as easily have escaped. And I do think that conversation Pleakley has on the plane is pretty funny. They should really have two alternate cuts of this movie (i.e. Theatrical cut and Director's cut). That would make everyone happy, don't you think?

  • totally cool =D

way better than the original! =DDDDD

    GO STITCH!!

  • I do agree that this would have been lacking in taste. The city stuff would not have gone over well that close to 9/11. In spite of that, this is a much better sequence :) A lot more epic, and that's saying something, cause it was epic to begin with. the landing gear on the building gave me chills (and yes, I know that's the "most distasteful" moment. I still think it's a neat idea in theory.)

  • For once I can see how this would be distastefull....

  • Pleakley's conversation on the phone is totally worth putting this scene in the movie instead :D

But I'm satisfied with the version they kept instead

  • "How many pieces are in the 4-piece..."

You have NO IDEA how ofetn I hear this at McDonald's. XD

  • Its a shame that people in this country have become such pussies that we have to edit a children's film.

  • Well it was made just after 9/11. Keeping it in would have been kinda tactless don't you think?

  • Aww, they should've kept the city scene. And I love all the stuff that Pleakley does. xD Shame it never made it into the final version.

  • This speaks far more to Jumba's abilities of controlling foriegn ships and Stitch's abilities of subterfuge and take over than the original does. Its a shame 9/11 made them replace this part.

  • My thoughts exactly. It is a real pity.

  • @ShadowSaberBaroxio

9/11 didn't make anyone do anything

People just pussied out their product wont be that demanded. Profit > art and story

I can't imagine if 911 happened in 50s that they would even give a fuck. I imagine there would even be added a scene, where Stitch shoots down a random al qaeda and/or ussr plane while chasing the big alien :D

Subtle message for kids to join army n stuff

  • @ShadowSaberBaroxio

    This is true. Sadly.

  • That was better than the final one!

    Shame about the tragedy.

  • Dang the guy with the ice cream didn't even flinch, lol.

  • he had more important things to worry about, like ice cream.

  • for some reason this reminds me of 9-1-1

  • Jumba sounds greek x'D

  • however spaceship makes better sense; ship control issue, no illegalities after stealing (how would they have skipped that rap?), and no excessive violence.

  • too bad; excellent work.

  • I think the REAL reason they didn't use this is because 2 Boeing 747s were crashed into one tower and the Pentagon...

  • The were actually 2 767's on the Towers and a 757 on the Pentagon. No 747 involved.

  • So THAT'S why Jumba was so off-model in this section. (Seriously, look at the new footage. His head his HUGE and his body is tiny.)

  • Yeah, I noticed that when I've watched it. Jumba goes way off model. I'm hoping that when the special edition or whatever gets released that this will be the chase scene instead of the spaceship.

This sequence works a lot better. I'm just amazed at the difference it makes.

  • @Aldrius reminds me of Treasure Planet. "Excuse me is you body to big for your teeny tiny head? Or is your head to teeny tiny for your BIG FAY BODY?"

  • They didn't, it was never used, like the description says

  • @AllahOfw0ne Wasn't it changed to a big red spaceship from earlier in the movie?

  • Whow. that would of been that scen in the movie

  • Can you reupload this? It's not working :(

  • It's not working. :'(

  • why can't I view it?

  • BTW, what's been going on with the 2-disc release anyway? Ever since I found out about it I've been waiting for it to come out here but it still hasn't happened yet! I love Lilo & Stitch and have been dying for a more in-depth DVD release with a commentary like the stuff for all the other Disney films. The original, single disc release with no commentary just doesn't do the film justice for me.

  • I think the part at 2:58 where the wheels go through the building is a little too close for comfort to what happened during 9/11. The ending seems better just with them in the spaceship and having their fight in wide open skies rather than a cramp city.

  • Yeah, I know, when I look at this scene the thing that stands out most is the cloud of white dust going through the street at about 2:37.

  • XD. I think I would've preferred this. "How many pieces are in the 4-piece set?" XD Priceless. Not to mention the action of it all. However, I believe that Disney was smart to change it after the 9/11 attack.

  • So THAT'S what Pleakly was saying when they cut to him on the phone, LOL!

  • I think this ending would've been funnier. Beating a spaceship with a plane. But then again, with 9/11, who knows how critics would've responded...

  • ...or people in general.

  • My father has a point,You shouldnt assume that only kids watch disney movies adults do too, stitch hijacking a plane is pretty close to a terresist attack even if he is an animated cartoon,I mean they stopped playing Im free falling after 9/11 attacked of course disney would take something out that even seemed like a terresist thing -_-

  • wow... O_O it was awesome!

  • Howcome ive never seen this version? seems funner than the original lol, i like it.

  • they cut it out because of 9/11 but there were plans to edit it back in for a masterpiece edition dvd that never materialized

  • i like this version better

  • I like this but the Space Ship seems much more realalistic, a 747 flying down Honalulu is pretty wierd not to mention seeing a 747 gliding on skyscrapers after 9/11. One thing that bugged me is how deserted the city looked, maybe they where gonna add people and cars later.

  • You know, I'm sorry to say this, but I think this is stupid. Disney changed the whole scene just because of 911? I think that's stupid. What, are people gonna think Stitch is a terrorist because he hijacked a plane? "Stitch hitjacked a plane. He must be a terrorist." I mean, come on! It's stupid. it's only an animated movie. Now, I mean no respect to anybody who was involved in 911, but I think always changing things and/or taking them out just because of 911 is stupid.

  • I totally agree with your statement. This is a kids movie. The kids doesn't know a shit about 9/11 bullshit. Also there were a lot of movie made based off 9/11 attacks (most of them were adults movie however.)

  • I don't have Region 2 or 4 DVD players, and I don't want to go through the trouble of converting it, so this is why I am asking.

  • I don't have any of it on hand I'm afraid, these clips were uploaded quite a while ago.

  • Shoot! Oh, well. A message to anyone who does have it: Please post it!

  • please post all of the original stuff from the special edition.

  • It's on the Region 2 and Region 4 DVDs!

  • It's on one of them. Maybe a special edition, I can't remember now.

  • Aw nice

  • cool

  • I think the spaceship does make more sense in the scheme of things

  • I don't know if anyone has noticed it, but the red spaceship used in the theatrical release has some resemblance to a 747

  • I guess they got rid of this type of ending because during production, this could be a reference to the 9/11 stuff, thus changing the minds of the crew working on this film.

  • I kinda like this version. But I am glad they put the spaceship in cause I mean it is in all the other movies.

  • This is so weird... They changed the whole finale just to cut it out in the German Version T.T

    *hates the German FSK Filmcutterpeople* ;_;

  • I'd like to, but I can't, sorry. It's just too big a task for the likes of me.

It'd probably get taken down anyway.

  • I love this :D so Awesome

  • This- is- so- awesome ;_; It almost makes up for me not having the special edition 2-disk.

  • You have the end complete of this end of Lilo and Stitch?

  • No, but I expect the rest plays out as normal from the point it cuts out, with the tanker/volcano etc.
