 I didn't recall having trouble on this particular licence test but I believe the key here is to master the corner @1:03. Just my 2 cents.

ABS1 TRACTION CONTROL 1 Everything else turned off, is impossible otherwise. This is one of of the hardest licenses to gold (imho) practice, practice, practice!

I did this quite a while ago and settled for bronze, but I did find that the rumble strips on the outsides of the turns very unforgiving if your outside wheels go over them, because then you can't get them back until the end of the rumble strip. Thanks for the tips though. What settings did you use?

OMFG!!! JUST BEAT THAT HELLISH CHALLENGE!!!!!! ABS-3 TC-5. The best way to know that you're going to get close is if you're actually behind the green car at the first turn, hug the turn and draft the cluster. At the sharp turn, don't be afraid to push the cars out of the way, the sooner you're behind the lambo's, the better. After that, it's all about making your turns as sharp and efficient as possible.

I was having some real trouble with this. Until i put ABS to 8 and TC to 3, ASM off and AS - strong. Got a first lap of 1.23.156 and 2nd of 1.18.something where previously my first lap was consistently around 1.24.5 and 2nd 1.21.

If having trouble with this licence here are a few tips. 1: Stune5 is correct with ABS1 & TCS1. 2: Look out for the signs on the walls indicators to start breaking. EX: First corner look out for a yellow 100 sign, the car will break into the next turn you want to press and release throttle here DO NOT BREAK!!! the car will slide close to the wall and you'll loose time. You want to be going between 63mph-68mph. 3: Be in 3rd place by the sharp turn, also start breaking at the yellow 100 sign.

@beeblebronx This was the only licence test I used assists in. ABS1 and TCS1. The car prob wouldn't object to having either turned up a bit but ASM is usually a waste of time

@beeblebronx make sure when you o brake in the first corner were the white one brakes and give a bit a second off full gass and than hit the brakes than the next corner you will over take the green car .

@zplitt9 Sounds like some pretty bad luck. No the AI is the same in all versions. I should know i have both :p What often happens in these types of event is some cars just romp off once they get out ahead. Other times they are held up by the pack. Stick out it, your lap times sound fine. I think many would agree this test benefits from a bit of luck

now i know, in this challanges about "getting first" the lap time is not important. the thing is, to pass a firm car in firm curve.

when you didn´t get 3rd in tthe curve about 0:43 you can´t make it.

i tried it over 400 times and i don´t get it. fucking hovercraft

@zplitt9 Well lets just say its worth restarting if you don't make 3rd by that point. Its quite awkward to get all that overtaking done on the first corner, but it makes or breaks your lap. You just have to try and predict where the cars will be, but ever time is slightly different

I only using dual shock but I ordered a steering wheel the gt official one with just 2 pedal is g25 the best? Settings for dual shock?

@truesgama2 The DFGT? They are pretty good. The g25 has better pedals with much more pressure and a little more travel. They are a bit more realistic but I know loads of guys who are really quick with the dfgt.

Lots of people use the triggers with the DS3 as there is a bit more travel in the triggers than the X and square buttons meaning its easier to be smooth

Poly trolled us hard with this test. Okay whatever you get dq's for grazing a wall or a car bumping you from behind. But sometimes ill slam into a wall or a car and theres no DQ...Atleast be consistent you trolllllllllllllls!

@achilles781 If you are accelerating and a bug hits you you will DQ'd If you are decelerating you can smash into cars. its a little more fine tuned than that but thats pretty much the way its been working for me.
