The makers of WAR actually made a WAR or WOW online type game before WOW was made look it up WOW was based on another online WOW type game made by Mystic. Mystic now have Warhammer backing them.

In Warhammer no matter what level you are you can make a difference. In order to capture enemy cities the high and low level players need to capture certain points. For example, if a level 20-30 RvR scenario is won by Order, all levels of play are effected.
But the big stuff is at 40, of course. Like the big dungeons and city raiding is for lvl 40.
wow isnt that bad but i got bored of it after a year.. i love to pvp and in wow pvp is very imbalanced. and u have to respec when u wanna pvp or pve... The pvp is also much more in dept than wow.. just look at the tiers. from 1-4 and then the enemy's city. Man these little things are what makes a great game.. i think war will definitely be fun..

Why does this game need to "compete" with WoW? Why does 1 of the games have to be "bad" in everyone's opinion? I like Halo, and I also like Call of Duty... just because both are in the same genre doesn't mean 1 is "TEH SUX". It also doesn't mean I have to play just 1... I play both...

I just don't like this game, okay? I think WoW looks much better... And I think making 3D trees is a really big challenge. This game has 2D trees too, mate. And if you have a good computer with a good graphic card, the graphics in WoW ain't so bad at all. Anyway, WoW came out in 2004. And it isn't all about the graphics in games, it's the content. Which I really like with WoW, and others may like this game much better.

Blizzard ruined WoW's original great feel with the release of the Burning Crusade expansion. Arena gear screwed the game up even more. I doubt they're going to make the game better with any additional content. Therefore, I can't wait for this damn game.
JIMMYJEE, I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3.. Yes they both have amazing graphics for the few games that use the extend of their power.

WoW was based on warhammer just to let you know. blizzard wanted to make an online Warhammer but games workshop wouldnt let them so they called in WoW instead. Mythic actually got the OK from games to make it.

Why does this game need to "compete" with WoW? Why does 1 of the games have to be "bad" in everyone's opinion? I like Halo, and I also like Call of Duty... just because both are in the same genre doesn't mean 1 is "TEH SUX". It also doesn't mean I have to play just 1... I play both...
I'll be picking this up when it comes out because it looks awesome. I will also continue playing WoW, my favourite game of all time, for many hours simply because it is a great game that I love. :)

I just don't like this game, okay? I think WoW looks much better... And I think making 3D trees is a really big challenge. This game has 2D trees too, mate. And if you have a good computer with a good graphic card, the graphics in WoW ain't so bad at all. Anyway, WoW came out in 2004. And it isn't all about the graphics in games, it's the content. Which I really like with WoW, and others may like this game much better.

woo for pvp that actually gets you experience! the best new thing about quests in WoW is that if you complete the objective BEFORE accepting the quest, then talk to the quest-giver, the quest is finished, which means no-one ever bitches about forgetting to accept quest or something

Age of Conan may also because it seems more real instead of fairy tale like.

Blizzard ruined WoW's original great feel with the release of the Burning Crusade expansion. Arena gear screwed the game up even more. I doubt they're going to make the game better with any additional content. Therefore, I can't wait for this damn game.

This game is balanced in pvp... so they say. WoW is gunna lose most of their PvP scene when WotLk comes out if no changes have been done AT ALL. Okay listen people, Warhammer isn't easy, World of Warcraft is easy, if you want to be good at a game, without trying, go there. All the good RvR casuals are welcome in WAR, casuals that suck, stay the fuck out. We don't care how many hours you log, as long as when you do log, you take it seriously(as in you don't ruin it for others). And Knealzoinks IS right(to the following degree only)more effort total = better gear = better chance in war. But that's it so don't get your panties in a wad.

WoW was based on warhammer just to let you know. blizzard wanted to make an online Warhammer but games workshop wouldnt let them so they called in WoW instead. Mythic actually got the OK from games to make it.
