  • Very right for Harlow. Great clips. Truly a great star no matter if she was a platinum blonde or a redhead.

  • Haha "I'm going to be a lady if it kills me!" .. "Aw go lay an egg" classic x)

  • She was so special. She had such a great sense of comedy. Truly one of the best comediennes of her time.

  • i love this

  • Hard to believe she was only 26 at the time of her death :-( Colleen, you have such wonderful taste!

  • @Kaffyboy , thanks Craig. Jean did die far too young. But she did receive medical care during her last weeks - despite her mother's Christian Science faith - the problem was, there was no kidney transplants or dialysis at the time, so nothing could be done for her. But I agree that her mother was a controlling stage mother who lived off her daughter's fame and money. Her mother just refused to let Louis B. Mayer's physician look at Jean, so that's how the rumor started.

  • Yet another great vid from you Colleen (as always!) Thanks hun. With Jean Harlow, who was the original platinum blonde bombshell, I think her death was mostly caused by her mother! Due to her religious beliefs, she denied Jean the medical attention she needed in order to survive. That is sooo sad and tragic!

  • One of my favorite songs! 'Love Jean Harlow but I need to see more of her movies! :)
