The flyers are most likely gonna finish within the top 4 in the eastern conference this season. The toughest teams will be the rangers, penguins, the flyers and the sabres/senators. I actually think the flyers will probably finish either 3rd or 4th depending on whether or not they win the division.

Flyers have definetly reaped the benefits whti Holmgren as the new GM. They have taken Captains from 3 different teams and traded Forsberg for Upshall and future talent. They may or may not get to the playoffs this year, but with the players they have right now they are in great position. I feel bad for Sabres fans. What the GM allowed to happen is not cool, but Sabres have alot of great players and will still be in playoffs next year.. btw RANGERS suck! <3

I'm a Leafs fan, but I do like the Sabres for a couple of reasons. Now most of those reasons are gone; Drury and Briere. I love Maxim Afinogenov though, Thomas Vanek amd Ryan Miller are good too.. anyway, i'm just glad that Sabres won't be as big of a threat as they were to the Leafs. :)

As a Sabres fan, this ticks me off. However, Buffalo had plenty of time to sign Daniel Briere and ownership dragged their feet. With Briere and Chris Drury gone, fans have to wonder about their commitment to winning. And I'm sure other potential free agents will see this and shy away from signing in Buffalo. You have a small window to succeed in a small market. Buffalo's window has just been slammed shut!
