this is not that hard. I've played this game to death and reached level 480. with time on your hands you can continue to play this until you clock the scoreboard. the game gets no harder after you reach like level 50

I do have to say, it is quite very easy on Novice. Im on like 30 mil atm and im no expert. It is an acheivement, ill give you that. not many people have the patience to do it. but many people would have the skill.

If you want a real achievement, get to that level on the hardest difficulty.

at least that way people can't piss all over your bonfire. aha.

I can understand 9999 being the maximum jewl number... but why did they program it to end at a random level like 208? Why not 200 or 210? Does faster than 208 break Sega's blast processing?

If you start on Level 0, you'll end up at 199. Level 9, 208.

Doesn't matter where the gems falls somehow you can get rid of it. I play this mode before, after 1 hour isn't funny anymore. Sorry man, i play the mode "flash columns" in amateur mode, to spend sometime, and i used to play the 3 with my brother when i was young... so respect for this game. Greetings from Argentina!.

@Oerg866 Sometimes... take it easy, in your world (you and... you) you are the best columns player ever... in my world (me and everybody) the "novice" mode was funny when i was a child, then i realize that isn't funny when you can't lose, because i played this game so much, in hardest modes, obviously. @Oerg866 I hate to say it, but I have to agree with angantyr86. I was 12 when I played this game at my grandmother's house and I reached about 20 million within an hour or so on Novice mode. And I didn't play the game very often. But hey, try it at a higher mode. If I'm not mistaken, the clears are worth more. At any rate, its more difficult. Good job on this though. It takes a good amount of concentration to get 20mil on Novice. But lets see you get it one level higher.

that's pretty easy to do considering you only have 4 colours. I was playing this today with 4 colours, I got bored and had to turn it off, but I could have gone on forever.

I've gotten past lvl 500 when i was like 16 on hard... and trust me i could never do it again due to it takes forever to get that high.. 7 hrs + (good job on playing!)

That was very impressive. I had finished playing a round in that mode not too long ago as I was just showing this game to a friend. Next thing I know, I'm past level 100 XD. I finally ended up filling the screen at about level 147 with a score of around 5 million points or so. Great job though man!

I just hooked up my Sega last night and got over 24 million. The jewels counter actually reset itself. If you play it long enough, your brain just takes over and it's not so hard. I too just got tired at about 1:30 in the morning.

Orange, yellow, green, blue. then there is the mode where you can get all of those plus red which is medium and the mode where its Orange, yellow, green, blue, red, purple.. which is hard mode.. all i was saying is that your playing it on easy and i'd love to see a video of you playing on hard.
