It has to do with the author of a completely different series (but does have to do with vampires) with the same title; the "Twilight" series by Stephanie Meyer

It was originally called "Twilight" because that's when he is most comfortable being out and he's in a twilight state of being, but then they realized that Stephenie Meyer's book Twilight was gaining popularity and picked the next best name so it didn't look like plagarism.

Awe thank you soooo much for uploading this! I'd heard so much about Moonlight and only now decided to watch because I love Vampires and because Jason Dohring is in it! But that last scene with Mick where he's trying to hide from Beth. OMG it makes me heart ache! So sad.
