Blaming colonialism for dooming africa is complete bullshit. The fact is that at the end of the colonial period (50's, early 60's) the economic gap between Western Europe and Sub-Saharan was at it's smallest in the last 500 years. England was 5 times richer than the British Crown Colony of Northern Rhodesia (Zambia) in 1960, in the year 2000 England was 27 times richer than Zambia.
