Great video.The first time i was introduced to Darkseid was in an issue of Mr. Miracle back in '78. To say he was impressive...would be an understatement.I would have to agree with Mbop28...they have powered Darkseid down. In the 3 issue Superman miniseries, Doomsday drags Darkseid around like a ragdoll..i think its wrong...but...i won't argue it. To quote Darkseid "..Even Highfather has limits...ALL have limits...save I"...well i'll just let that speak for itself. thanks.

I did not, but I've read many other comics. Historically, batman has and will always have the upperhand. There was a comic involving Ra's vs. the Justice League....in the end Batman was kicked out of the league. Do you know why? He had found a way to destroy the entire league if they were to ever go rogue(this includes superman) and if it was not for Batman stopping Ra's from using his plans, the league(including superman) would have been destroyed.

Anyway, it's all about writer perceptions.

Yep. JLA: Tower of Babel. Ra's did use the plans on the JL. But all that proved is that if Batman had years to plan and gain access to a variety of things that exploit his friend's weaknesses and the Justice League was not expecting an attack, Bats could beat them.

Yeah he knows their weaknesses and that gives him an upperhand, but still. Toe-to-toe Superman going all out on Batman without all the complicated gadgetry that Batman doesn't always have access to he'd get beaten to a pulp.

Historically though, when they meet in battle, he is always prepared. Like I said, history comes first. Batman always has some Kryptonite with him to slow supe's down, which basically gives him more than enough time to formulate a plan and usually get the gadgets he needs.

The only problem is, Batman is not the punisher...he does not kill. Therefore, in the end you're right...but if he was a killer like he was in his first year...Superman would lose.

In Superman The Animated Series (before Justice League) in the finale 2 episodes (was a 2 parter) Darseid brainwashed Superman into thinking he was his son and while under his influence attacked Earth and in the eyes of the people of Earth Superman had gone bad. When Superman finally was awakened he was pissed off and humiliated and embarassed. There's a fight there also that u should see if u haven't already its pretty awesome but not as awesome as the final one in JLU.
