Clipping a Horse: Desensitization Techniques

If I did that to my leased mare, she would probably take my head off. This mare will run if she sees the clippers down the isle way, turned off. She will run if she can hear it, not even see it. So this is not going to be helpful..

You can't show how to desensitize on a horse that already is... Nice video, but does not serve any useful purpose.

My first thought too, as soon as I saw the horse, I noticed the ears are already clipped on him. It would be nice to see a horse that actually has to be worked through the steps.

might be nice to show on a horse that is not desensitized to this activity. Most do not stand as easily as the mare you have here.
