@tigerlilly66 You are definitely right about that the Germans have done some terrible things (although this does not at all count for every German) but I beg you to see Germany and its people today: you will find that they are a very civilised people and a lovely country. I love Germany and I am not German. Stop generalising that all Germans are Nazis and violent people as that is a load of BS!

If you knew me, you would not accuse me of "generalizing" about Germans. I am of German extraction, and very fond of Germany. As a military historian, I think the German war machine was one of the best ever. Had it not been for Hitler and his Satan-inspired hatred of the Jews (even though he looked the other way at the THOUSANDS of 1/4 or 1/2 Jews in his own military), Germany might well have won the war. I never said all Germans were bad...don't put words in my mouth!

The guards in this hell hole were German - the starving, disease ridden people there were mainly Jewish women. You seem to be ignoring the fact that no-one in this video is German. The While Horse Inn is set in Austria. Andre is Dutch. The female singers are Dutch and Braziian. You seem to be living is some kind of a dream world. Wake up!

The fact that his concerts are alway sold out and that his audiences are always enthralled is testament to his success in reaching his target audience. He makes does not claim to be the greatest violist in the word or that his orchestra is the finest there is. His concerts are a visual as well as a musical feast. Rock on Andre!

I have watching alot of Andre Rieu videos, this guy is the MAN. He is very different from all the conductors that I have watched; he is very much involved with HIS orchestra and the spirit and soul that both he and the orchestra brings is incredible.
