  • this is very interesting

  • I share you riding tip with all my facebook friends . But I think you should always mention tire pressure. A soft tire you can’t handle the bike well .savior250psi.ca

    Keep up the good work.

  • wow those motorcycles turn a lot easier than i though

  • this is utter tripe! americans really are DUMB! LOL

  • The MSF courses are good, but they are pretty basic. But many law enforcement motorcycle units also offer motorcycle safety courses that are more advanced than even the MSF's Advanced Course. Check them out in your area.

  • I would like to see them wearing more gear...

  • Not the best motorcycle for demonstrating anything on.

  • @187Premises are you talking about the Harley's? You're kidding, right? I have a 2010 EGlide and an 08 Street Glide, they turn on a dime and are very nimble bikes at slow speeds. Learn the three techniques this man teaches and you'll see what I'm talking about. Piece of cake turning my bikes anywhere I want to turn them at slow and fast speeds.

  • I understand this is a video for beginners, but suppose you want to do a U-Turn in real life, what if there are obstacles (pot holes, oil leaks etc) on the ground where you turn? Shouldn't you be pay some slight attention to the road itself rather than just tilt your head towards the direction you want to go?

  • 'Sebytro', you're supposed to SEE (search, evaluate, execute - constantly)!!! So, before you're even thinking of doing a U-Turn, you're supposed to know the condition of the road surface ahead!!!...

  • Heheh, I found out the answer to my question after some practice :p Thanks tho ;)

  • Excellent mate, good instruction

  • Figure 8's on a motorcycle is compared to parallel parking in a car. Most of us know how much of a pain that was starting out.

  • so true, can't agree with you more :)

  • @theripmon81 parallel parking was something i looked forward too actually, as long as u have good spacial awarness and can tell how much of an angle your at it shouldnt be hard to parallel park, unless of course ur a hummer trying to fit in a tiny space :D

  • @jhardy66617 Wow, that post was over a year ago. I still see people trying to parallel park by coming in at not enough angle, or too small of a space frequently, and laugh as I just pull my bike into a small parking spot, then stand-spin if I feel liking being lazy :)

  • @theripmon81 lmao sry i didnt check the date, people who can only drive cars are usually slightly mentally retarded

  • @jhardy66617 It's all good. Kind of hidden now ever since youtube changed...again. As for your car drivers comment, I think you are being WAY too nice hehe

  • @theripmon81 hahaha

well im trying to make it so they dont hate us even more

that way they dont cut us off on purpose

  • Damn.. for those of you that can't appreciate that, I took the MSF course and the new skills you need to know to ride a smooth fig-8 are not easy to master.

  • Wow...

  • RLAP V is a lot better than RLAP IV. I especially liked the friction zone explanation (even though I ride a scooter.) There were a couple more exercises demonstrated.

Having the lines drawn was a good idea.

We are working through the exercises in the video with our riding group. We now have an hour of practice available before every ride.

  • Thanks Motorman!!
