the music will still be similar in d3 ibelieve, i just hope that the game is good enough to play because not alot of the same ppl who made d1 and d2 are in the making on d3... but blizzard usually does an okay job in gaming
this game is awesome, its a fresh diablo clone, the music is great, gameplay is great, and its a small 600mb game for today´s standards...its VERY polished, and I enjoy it a lot
Yeah. I had known about the composer as I had read an interview on the subject. It really does call to mind D2 Act One, and with this spooky fall/halloween atmosphere I thought it would make nice background music.
No luck finding any resources on the website and time is running out!

The more videos that I see of Torchlight, the more I want the game, the happier I am that it is being released at a very affordable price and the more that I wish it was tommorrow already so that I could start my journey The only thing that is sad, is having to wait until the weekend to get into a marathon whole weekend play session. Well, that and the whole singleplayer thing, my partner and I use to play Diablo 2 from Friday 10pm to Sun 10pm every weekend for many many months without stop.
There was no point in making Torchlight a multiplayer game since Runic was planning to create a MMO game just after this one, you'll be able to play MMO next year.
is this from same makers as diablo or something? seems like a total diablo clone from gameplay to sounds

The only way they have a chance to beat diablo 3 is by making this an mmo and even then it seems bleak.
music score sounds almost identical diablo 1's
and most the sounds in the game sound like they've been ripped from diablo 1. (gold drops, chests opening, scroll drops, monster deaths etc..)

Music resembles diablo because it is done by the same composer.
gameplay resembles diablo because most of the developers were the ones who CREATED diablo franchise.
DIII has almost none of original diablo developers.

I am really digging the soundtrack - especially this tileset's music.
Do you know of any way to access it? Are there mp3 files in the games folder structure or a online resource to download it?

MArco 3400 is correct. That is an altered version of the Tristram level music of Diablo II. sweeet!
