A Navy chap said that when rough seas are filmed, they look a lot ''smaller'' on camera than in reality-all to do with lack of ''depth of field'' and lack of 3-D perspective.
So-when seas on you tube look really bad-then they really must be bad!
I loved going on the Disney cruise, but I must say, sooo much stuff in our room was broken. It wasn't any one "big" thing, it was just like 100 little things, from handles on dressers that were loose and coming off to sliding doors constantly coming off the runners to missing bathtub stoppers to countless screws throughout the room that were obviously replacement screws and didn't match the original pretty brass screws next to them...that was the only thing about the cruise that felt un-Disney.
@snowball- yep it was the Atlantic crossing! I remember that night, it was SO rocky! I was in Youth Activities, as an Entertainment Host. Glad we survived.
was it during the atlantic crossing? dude, i was working in animators palate that night we passed by Portugal, the 23th dec i believe, it was hell i tell you... well, hell for those who get seasick, and lots of fun for the others... i had a great time, but lots of people threw up, lots of trays on the ground, broken glasses, plates, everything!!! it was a real challenge to work in the diner that evening, but in the end everybody had a great time!!!
